Tried multiple apps to no avail. It constantly says it is out of paper (when its not). Now it says there is a paper jam (when there is not). Such a piece of junk. Im returning it and grab an HP or something.

They dont recognize any ink cartridges including the ones that came in the box. Ive updated firmware along with every other suggestion support gives...still junk

Needed to hire Geek Guys to help

Even with the HP disc, I could not get the scanning to work. I finally signed up for technical support from Geek Guys and he was able to get it to work, do far.

Epson printer constantly dropping offline

But, I am rating this printer as a no buy, because of one issue, the constant issue of the printer going offline. Epson printer support uses the excuse that it is your network that is the issue not the printer. Not so, there are many posts about this offline issue and it is obvious that Epson has not made and effort to update their middleware to compensate for the issue.

Little hard to set up

I had a lot of trouble setting it up on my MacBook. There really wasn't much information about setting it us using a Mac.

Don’t Waste Your Money on this Printer

I had two XP-7100 printers each break in less than a year. I bought the first one in February 2020 and in October 2020 the paper tray stopped feeding properly and jammed paper. I replaced it with the identical model and that one lasted until March 2021 when the automatic document feeder stopped working. Neither printer lasted a year, which says something is wrong with this model. I won’t buy another Epson.

Has a finish that attracts dust

The exterior is a dust magnet. When scanning off of screen, I have to scan several different pages instead of adding a page for one file.

After a week of no answers, I returned it to Best Buy and purchased an HP that was a dream to set-up.
