Always in error mode

Has VERY tiny ink cartridges which are VERY expensive. Constantly in error mode. When color ink low, it asks if you want to print in black & white instead. When you say Yes, it still forces you to replace color ink cartridge. Also only holds a small amount of paper so you're constantly refilling it.

STAY AWAY - Ink Refill Technology is TERRIBLE

Epson is trying to be Apple and ensure no other vendors can produce after market ink for them. The problem is the technology isn't great and ink that I've purchased from legitimate Epson retailers sometimes shows up as unauthorized. I will buy a 4-pack of ink, and 3 of the 4 will work but the last one won't. And of course always at the worst time. Plus there is not an option that most other printer to use the full inks to complete a print job. So if I'm out of Cyan and want to print in black and white, I cannot. The entire printer shuts down. I'm dumping this printer and getting a new one from anyone except Epson.

Once in a while, it just flakes out and I need to re-start. Most of the time, it prints.

Hate it!

Have printed very little with it and it says I'm out of ink already, and won't print until I buy more. The last page it printed, everything was perfectly legible, like it has plenty of ink. Not worth the money and unfortunately I'm out of my 30 day return window.

Okay product

Not adding up to even Satisfactory!

I have used Epson Printers since before the year 2000 and always have been completely satisfied with them. This one needs a lot of work. Especially the Scanner. I have a 25 year old Canon scanner which does a by far better job than this. Needs much work to make it work properly. Very Unhappy!

Disappointed

I mostly print in black and white so this is a complete waste of time and is really annoying. The software is annoying with tons of notifications, and lots of updates that don't improve anything. You need supplemental software for everything scanning, printing, update checker, connection checker, photo printer etc. I find the ink smears quite often even when you adjust the settings, particularly on color prints with any kind of nice paper. I would never buy this printer again. It consistently frustrates me. They have 'deals' on this printer all the time...check out the ink prices.

Total junk - stops working in a month

How a manufacturer is allowed to make such a cheap product is truly beyond my comprehension. It worked for a while with just putting in 5 sheets of paper, and then it totally stopped working altogether. It constantly says "paper jam," but there is no place to locate a jam that it says exists. I tried different paper. It worked long enough to use the ink in the cartridges that came with it, but now I cannot get the new ink cartridges out, because it won't move the platen with the ink on it, due to saying paper jam. Not only was this printer NOT worth $200, it COST me $60 in ink and now I can't retrieve the cartridges if I am able to get a replacement or return this piece of crap.

Short Live for Ink Cartridges

Don’t bother

After some use ages and change of ink cartridges it just starts giving errors or won’t print in color. I purchased too many cartridges or I’d rid myself of this Epson product. I’ll return this under-par product again.
