The Best home printer I've ever had!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Epson XP-7100 Inkjet Printer. I had an earlier version, purchased 10 years ago and it was time to replace it. This new printer is so much faster: clean copies, excellent color copies and pictures, too. It is compact, easy to use w/large paper tray. I'm completely satisfied and would highly recommend it!

Great Product for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is great for the price! The print quality is awesome! This product is easy to use and has a variety of devices that can be used to print to this printer. Cartridges are reasonable and easy to replace. I love the features that this product provides. The only thing that I don't like about this printer is , if connecting wirelessly to this device, it will only allow one device at a time to be connected. I tried several times, but was not able to connect to other devices. It automatically disconnects when this is attempted.

Epson XP-7100
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think overall this is a good printer. It was easy to set-up and communicate with both my wifi and laptop. A couple of small negatives are the speed of when the printer begins to print, the paper tray is not user-friendly, and I'm not wild about the automated touchscreen. I will admit I'm being picky so if you are looking for a decent home printer this will be fine.

So far so good - but let's talk in a year...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I swore off Epson about 12 years ago when the print heads in two different printers clogged after about a year's worth of use. The cost to repair the out of warranty printers were twice the cost of the printers themselves! So I moved on to Canon ink jets - which were great initially but, again, after a few years I was wasting more ink cleaning the print heads and the print quality was slipping significantly. So I did some extensive research on ink jets (not my primary printer - I have a color laser but still like to print glossy photos and high quality print projects from time to time) and saw that Brother and Epson were getting higher ratings lately. Plus, what is the deal with Canon's 25-page paper trays?!?!? Anyway, when my Best Buy Blueshirt approached and asked what I was looking for I quickly answered "an Ink Jet that doesn't suck." "Sorry, sir, but they don't exist," he answered. We both laughed and I said "well, I would like the one that sucks the least." He, too, was well informed about the ratings and showed me the Brother and the Epson. I decided to choose the Epson XP-7100. So far, I've been happy with the footprint, features and print quality. I don't like that you have to manually close the print tray every time you complete a job. The selection is three screens deep after you complete a print job. So, honestly, my 4-Star rating is premature as far as Ink Jets go. The quality and performance on these Ink Vampires tends to plummet after a year or two. I'll revise this review based on how things go, but, for now, it's one of the best ones available for the price.

Easy to use, Good Quality, fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall Excellent. The only issue is the paper tray. Because it basically rests on the surface it can be hard to pull/push in/out. In our case it is on a wood Shelf, which causes this. Other than that was easy to setup. Had it it up an running on all computers and phones in about an hour. Prints are nice and fast and scanning works well. The cover adjust some so can accommodate a book when scanning. Have not tried ADF yet

Set up is not hard and printing quality is good
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always liked Epson printers, and this was purchased as a replacement for another 10-year old Epson printer. Set up for connection on the WiFi network was relatively straightforward using the software. However, somehow perhaps due to a glitch, two printer drivers were installed on my computer, although with slightly different names and correspond to the same one. I had to try printing using each to figure out the one that didn't work and delete it. Otherwise, the printing quality is good. Over time, one thing that annoys me is that during initial setup, and periodically after that (likely when the printer hasn't been used for a while), when you turned on the printer, it'll go into some sort of automatic calibration or self-cleaning mode, when for up to 5 mins you can't do anything to stop it, can't tell how long the process would take, and you certainly can't print anything. It's frustrating when you want to turn the printer on and print something out quickly.

Nice Photo and B&W Document Printer
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a nice combination photo printer and document printer. After reviewing a few sites, I settled on Epson. They have a great reputation for photo print quality. After printer a few dozen 4X6 photos - all I can say is wow. They look fantastic. The printing of documents on plain paper (B&W) also look sharp and clean. I don't use the scanner much but have done a few copies of other documents. Again, easy to use and great quality output

Good Home Office Printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice printer, easy setup. Out of the box and operating within 20 minutes. Very little instruction comes with it so it might take longer to setup if you’re not familiar with Epson printers. Doesn’t automatically shut down and things that extend themselves (paper tray, control panel) don’t close unless you close them. Overall a good home printer.

Great home AIO printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice relatively compact AIO printer. Replaced a Canon printer that failed. Works great for a home printer. I scan more than print so the reviews concerned with the high cost of use for the print cartridges is not really an issue for me.
