Great Printer!

I also have a comparable printer from Canon but the prints on the Epson Expression XP-7100 seems sharper and prints quicker than on the Canon. Highly recommend this for quality prints!!

Not what I expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This printer replaced my old Epson, so I expected a pretty good printer. The only feature I can be positive on is that it has a small footprint, a space saver. That's about it. The cons: if something isn't printing for whatever reason it just keeps cycling, and I eventually have to shut it off and unplug it before I can print again. So annoying...and it's connected to a new PC! Ink cartridges do not last long, it uses up ink really fast, The five cartridge system is a huge waste, it's just one more cartridge to replace. You cannot use this printer if one ink cartridge runs out. At least on my old printer if a color ran out I could still use all the other cartridges, and they lasted quite a long time. And lastly, copied documents come out ok, fair at best.

I only use it maybe one a month. I’m hopeful this will work great. I needed a front loading paper option and this was the best one I found. I wanted the new ink tank option but all paper was rear top loading.

Connectivity Fine, Qualified Satisfaction Overall

The connectivity issues in the reviews have not been an issue for me. The printer seems to 'remember' the network easily after not being used for several days. Seems slow to print -- the printer churns a bit and sometimes I need to cancel the print job, turn the printer off and on again -- to clear some some sort of cache its loops into? Dunno. After 3 weeks, I would give it a qualified rating for satisfaction. Still working it through.
