The ink usage is good, I haven’t purchased a refill yet, however be sure to purchase spare ink. The ink that comes with the printer runs out very quickly. The only part I don’t like about the printer is that the front panel comes out which in a way is very cool but it stays that way unless you turn the printer off. Thus it’s very vulnerable to get broken.

It is very similar to the printer I needed to replace. But does seem a little slower when I send a document from my computer. I love the option to be able to print right from an SD card.

Great printer if you print photos also

This one replaced an Epson XP820 that had a bad print head. What I like about these printers is that they have two input trays, one for photo paper and one for 8 1/2 X 11 paper. Anytime you need to print photo you just select it and print. A new feature that I like is you can program the printer to turn off when you are done then it will turn on when you want to print. I am not fond of the pricing of the ink, it is a little pricey but works well. It is worth the price when you can get it on sale.
