I do have another EPSON printer, that I've had for many years, and it still performs well. I especially like the fact that you can scan to a flash drive or SDHC card. This feature is quite convenient. It also allows you to scan in PDF or JPG formats. This is a great feature.

But it does scan well and quickly.

Good Home Printer

The 7100 is not as fast as the 830 but speed nis not required for my home printing. I am still learning about all of the capabilities of the 7100. It appears to be capable for all mod m needs.

Only downside is it is LARGE and very heavy!
