I've had for a month and so far so good. I've printed regular day to day B&W documents and 5x7 photos which looked great! Installation was easy and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solid home multifunction machine for under $200

I was looking for an Epson scanner, copier and printer. I had an old Epson that up and died on me. I have been scanning all of my mom's old photos and restoring them before printing copies. This new one is much smaller and the ink is easier to find. The only thing it doesn't do and that my old one did, was to scan negatives and print the picture. But if you want to print and scan great pictures from old photos, this is a great one to purchase.

My last three printers were high-end Canons. Decided to try Epson; the XP-830 is very good, I didn't need FAX but is yields nice photos. For just under $100.00 it isa great deal. I wish I would have spent more for the XP-960 for a larger format.

Very satisfied so far. My only complaints are 1) the different source paper trays are a little fussy to set up; and 2) I'm having difficulty finding ink, except on-line (not even always available at my local Best Buy), and the ink is pricey.

This was a replacement. I had no experience with the epson brand. I am sold. Easy to set up, easy to use and quality output. Great price. Compact and easy navigation.

I chose this printer because the evaluations I read said it uses less ink, and because it is WiFi ready. So far (I've owned it about a month), both appear to be true. And, quality is great! I've used print, copy, and scan - each works as advertised. I have not yet printed photos.

So far this printer has met my expectations. I bought it for the scanning functions as I am cleaning out old paperwork that I want to keep records of. I had used my brother's Epson picture scanner previously and only because of this did I know how to work my new scanner. I like the adaptability of scanning from the feed or the glass. I was able to save settings for dual, single and glass scanning and at the click of a button can change the setting to meet my needs. I have not yet had a chance to use the cd printing or burning function yet. Nor have I used a lot of ink yet as the main reason for buying this product was for the scanner.

It works fine. Good photos. It’s my second one. The first started smudging after a couple years and I couldn’t get it clean inside. I like that it has a document feeder but still it’s not too tall on our cabinet.

I gave it 3 stars because the scanning is driving me crazy. The only thing I'm not happy with so far is I can not scan from flatbed at the printer using the touch screen or use the ADF. Scanning will not work unless I go to my mac and scan from there. I have no idea why. It prints and copies very well and pictures look great and professional. I used 8x10 and 4x6 and they look as good as sending them out to walgreens, cvs, etc. I'm going to try before I call for help with the scanning and ADF again. It did work before and now it won't. It prints from anywhere and the document text and pictures are crisp and clear. Colors are vibrant. Everyone seems to complain about the ink, but I have to say it printed many documents because of a problem with format, turns out I had to use Microsoft Word for this project I had and I had to turn off ad blocker too. All those printed sheets, quite a few printed pictures and the ink barely moved. So it doesn't seem like an ink hog to me. I'm still using the ink that came with the printer. You do need a good router and wifi to use this and that works flawlessly. It will print anything from devices to printer. Yet If I get the scanning to work pressing the screen and the ADF again, Not that I don't need to exercise but walking back and forth to change what I need to scan is quite annoying. I will give it a 5 stars when I get this working again. I will hate if I have to return this.

This Epson has a lot of features in a relatively small footprint. It has a document feeder for scanning and copying multiple pages at once which we really wanted. But we have had trouble setting it up with our WiFi on computers that do not take the disc. Also it isn't a simple button for each function, for computer expert I am sure it is easier. The instructions get vague on how to set it up on a computer that doesn't have the disc drive. It is noisy and every now and then it clicks on from the sleep mode and makes all the noises that it is about to print and then goes back to sleep. Overall pretty good price for alot of features.

My purchase was recently and I have not had the opportunity to use all of the futures. Therefore my review is very limited. My purchase was based on previous purchases of Epson printers that I was pleased with.

Nice quality printer with a lot of features. Used to replace older Canon MP970 which this printer makes seem a bit outdated. There are more convenient features on the Epson, seems to use less ink, the ink is less expensive, but i think the Canon photo print quality may have been a bit better but it may be that i just need to make some adjustments on the Epson for it to produce top quality prints - but the prints it does produce are of high quality right out of the box.Very compact size for a multi-function printer.

I tried a HP 3700 printer and it was so slow that I took it back. After reading more reviews I realized that everyone seemed to talk of its slow printing. This printer is faster and I love all the features.

This is a great all in one printer for the price. However, they could have done a little better job on the print CD tray. It works OK but compared to the rest of the printer, they could have done a better design job.
