I have had this printer for several weeks now, and I am very satisfied. It was easy to set up, it is easy to operate both from the printer itself and from my Mac, and it produces high-quality results from both scanning and printing. Photos in particular are excellent, provided of course one uses suitable paper.

The printer is easy to use. While printing using black ink only it is quick, not so much with color.

Really does the job we need in our home. It is a great choice for an all in one device.

The Epson XP-830 is a great home printer/fax/scanner/photo printer. It is far better, in every respect, than the current crop of HP printers. It is compact and quiet in operation. The output on both plain and photo quality papers is simply outstanding. It will also print on CDs/DVDs and thick/stiff papers via a rear paper input slot. The XP-830 is the all-around best home printer available today! -mike-

Over all, so far I like the printer. It works well, is really quiet and was easy to set up. But I am also finding that adjusting some the finer things the printer can do frustrating. For example, I still have not found out how to print in proof or print saver mode.

The Epson XP-830 printer is easy to use and produces great prints. Ink lasts a long time and is reasonably priced

I really like this printer. I did not have a lot of $$ to spend at the time and i was concerned about the quality of printer I could get for my money. It was so simple to set up and I was blown away by the included features especially printing via WIFI - fantastic! Its super quiet too - highly recommend this little dynamo!

I decided to go with this printer after reading mostly positive reviews about it on here and other websites. I really like it so far. The print quality is very good for a standard print job. I haven't attempted to print out any photos yet. I really like that there are multiple trays. The only weird thing about this printer is entering my WiFi password via the touch pad interface. The special character "$" is not available. I had to search this problem on the web, and long story short I ended up changing my WiFi password to not include any dollar signs. I think this is so weird, but it wasn't a huge problem for me, just super weird! Hopefully there will be a firmware update in the future to include more special characters. Other than that, the printer works great and the ink is a little cheaper than the Canon inkjet printer ink.

I was able to set this up with my iMac in less than 30 minutes. It is relatively easy to use but the multiple trays are a little confusing. The printing is quite nice and I like the way the output tray opens automatically when I print from remote devices like my iPad. I like having ports for SD memory cards and for USB input. Overall I'm happy with the product. I only wish that I could use it with my ten-year old Mac Powerbook but there is no software available for that old operating system.

The installation was a breeze. Delivery was speedy. "Consumer Reports" rates this as one of the best all in one home printers and it sure is. I love the ease with which I can send anything over Bluetooth to print from my iPhone/ iPad. I haven't printed any photos yet but all documents scanned and printed came out crisp.

Printer needed to fit into a small roll-out drawer...it did. The manual instructions were enough for someone not totally techy. Printer quality is very good as are simple automatic functions that my older model required me to actually enter on the print set-up screen.

After reading some other reviews, I noted that a complaint was that this printer was hard to set up. I had no issues at all. Attached to wireless network easily. Also someone had said it had no low ink warning. As I installed it, it does and it worked since I have replaced the black ink cartridge recently.

The setup was easy, I installed the ink cartridges, set up the wireless network, loaded the paper and that was it. Once I registered the printer online, it connected to my mac desktop and iPad. I like that the output tray and display panel extend automatically. It also prints fast and photos are clear and bright.

I noticed that it was really small once I unpacked it. I was puzzled that there wasn't a tray to catch the new print from falling on the floor. To my surprise on the first print the tray automatically folded out. It was all motorized. The UI is simple and intuitive. Replacement ink is affordable as well.

I was worried about the tedious wifi setup but it connected smoothly and remains connected indefinitely! My previous Canon kept disconnecting and requiring password restart. Prints front and back of page automatically without a hitch.
