Before I bought this printer I had one thought of printers - they are contraptions born from hell designed to make us all miserable when we're already stressed and trying to prepare things on a deadline. This printer proved me wrong. It's easy to scan with, the ink lasts quite awhile (and isn't too expensive to replace,) it's very easy to connect to your computer, and most importantly - it actually prints when you need it to print. In nearly two years of use, it's jammed/had issues on very few occasions. If you're going to buy a printer, buy this printer. Or buy no printer at all.

My old HP printer finally failed. After reviewing a number of printers I chose this one because of print quality, ink cartridge price and ease in setup. After 2 months this printer has met all 3 requirements

Works great, there is a quiet mode but with it on or off printer is not loud at all. Quick printing and scanning time. Love features where I can print from my andriod.

I traded in my old printer for this Epson and I'm in love! My daughters print in color constantly, and it no longer costs an arm and a leg! It's perfect for school projects. It's also super easy to set up.

I wanted a printer that was easy to set up and would print from my Apple based products over WiFi and this has done exactly that. I have not attempted to print photos.

The compact size of the printer is a big plus. I don't print photos, but the docs and color graphics I do print are excellent. Not fast, but works well for casual use.

I am a full time student and this printer has saved me so much hassle as a student with a million things to print. It networks well, WiFi is great, just be aware you will have to download the Epson Printer Assist app. Prints seamlessly, smart, recognizes when you are out of paper of any size. All around great

I was used to HP, it died. This does not show ink levels the same way. I am still getting used to it and have not tried all functions yet. A little more involved to print in draft black and white to save ink. Wish we could lock it in this setting for everyday use.

So far no real issues pretty basic usage for us easy set up and seems to work on apple product fine ! more compact is what we went after replacing a larger all in one unit .

Easy to set up. Does a great job of printing and scanning. The pictures I printed were good quality. The auto-feed option, especially the ability to scan both sides of the paper, has been a great help to me.

Quality printer which was simple to set up. Have used several of the features, all which have worked as described. Affordable ink replacement. Printing from mobile device was a desired feature and works great.

It was easy to set up. I didn't even have to download anything or an app. I printed from my Chromebook and phone. The printer just popped up when I selected "print" on those devices.

I liked this unit it works nice and easy and has great quality the ink is a little expensive but if you do not use your printer a lot quality is great and it easy to use over all I am happy with it .

I purchased the XP-830 to replace my Artisan 725 when the ink pads were no longer usable. I was happy to find that the XP-830 is able to continue printing in black when a color ink cartridge is empty. It has also done away with the light cyan and light magenta inks and now includes photo black. I print a lot of photos and was concerned that the color quality might not be as good as the Artisan, but it is just as good, if not better. I only wish that Best Buy carried the high capacity ink, which I have to order direct from Epson. Although turn-around service from Epson is quick and with no extra charge for shipping. Loading the various trays is a bit cumbersome, but overall it's a great all-in-one.

I haven't had the printer very long, but to this point, the printer was easy to setup, performs fast clear prints of documents and is relatively compact. I definitely recommend it.

This is a great printer, prints fast, easy set up, quality prints Only problem is that it takes a long time to scan a paper, but I don't use that option very often.
