I needed a new printer for day to day printing needs, so I purchased the Epson XP-830. We hosted a beach party the next day, so I decided that I would take pictures of our guests with my phone and print them out for people to enjoy immediately. I installed the Epson iprint app and was able to instantly print out photo shop quality pictures and give display them for all to see. It turned out to be a big hit at the party, and I went through the entire package of 100 glossy photo papers that I had also purchased, and I still have plenty of ink left over from the original cartridges that came with the printer,

Very pleased with the ease of setup. Printing black and white has been excellent. We haven’t significantly used the color printing but what we have looks good.

The printer was very easy to set up and also very easy to use. Thjis is my first bluetooth printer and i love that from anywhere in my house I can print documents from my phone or iPad.

I purchased this printer to print photo's for Christmas and to print my Christmas Cards. I have had no problems with the printer but would recommend you purchase the XL ink cartridges from Epson. The photo quality is definitely above what I was getting from my Work Force printer 4630.

This is a home use printer that I don't use for photos. It works great for my use, documents, posters, and the occasional photo. It is not supper fast, but how fast do you need a document to print for limited home use. I like the Brothers name and its reputation.

Wifi printing has never been so easy and painless. Print quality is great and the menus are so easy to read and follow. I couldn't be more pleased with this printer.

Better photo printing quality than the HP PhotoSmart printer it replaced. Would have rated a 5 except, ironically, it's not compatible with all features of Adobe Photoshop Elements.

What a great all-in-one! Very easy to set up and prints very clearly and quickly. Got it for a great price. Did not try out all the features yet, but I love the versatility.

I had bought one for myself. Very good quality photos that it prints. Easy to use. I liked it so well. I had bought my daughter one for college also. Good quality.

The touch screen prompts you to needed actions to perform whatever task you want to do. Very user friendly. Even the initial set up and driver installs were easy.

So convenient. Takes up very little space and is great for a home office. Easily Connects to blue tooth devices and has decent print speed.

Good printer for home use. I like the option to print remotely from the Internet using the printer email address. I've printed a few things from my work office at home for my spouse. I have also scanned to the cloud which works great.

I HAVE A 900 SERIES ALSO AND AM A COMPLETE EPSON CONVERT FROM YEARS OF CANON LOYALTY. FOR PHOTO PRINTING, AND DUPLEX IT IS FAST AND QUIETONLY DOWNSIDE OF THE 830 IS THT THE REAR TRAY ONLY FEEDS ONE SHEET AT A TIME.

I have always used HP printers with no problems except ink cartridge prices. After exploring the net, talking to friends, and a discussion with the Geeks, I decided to change brands. Having a new HP Spectra, I needed to get a new 3 in 1 that is updated. The print quality is truly much better. The main reason for the 4 stars; since I’m a senior it looks like changing the ( less expensive than HP) cartridges my take a little longer to accomplish without the detailed instructions.

My printer was more than 10 years old, had few moving parts and was built like a tank. After spending too much time dealing with communications issues & working around Win 10 it suffered a hardware failure, so I was ready for an upgrade. The XP-830 set up & installed with little effort. Initially I was going to use USB for security. However, I decided to use wireless for its connectivity with other devices. I did not find the printers NIC on the machine or its documentation. As LAN connections to my router are white listed, I let the instillation Wizard fail, printed a report from the printer’s screen and obtained the NIC. I like the large screen. It is well lit, crystal-clear and easy for my old eyes to see. I was impressed with the brilliant black & white contrast of the failure report and subsequent b & w printings. Color prints are vibrant. I have not printed photos. The machine is thoughtfully designed, very light and has a small footprint. It is a bit noisy and there are many motors and moving parts.

The Epson printer is great. I love the ease of being able to print from my phone or the computer. Also, the ink replacements are not as pricey as other brands.

Great wireless printer for home use. We have this in the closet so it doesn't take up space on our desk. I can print off my computer, phone and tablet, love it!

We selected the printer for its ease of use and the high quality of its color printing, particularly as one of us is an artist.

I've always had HP inkjet printers but had tired of the constant problems I was having with conflicts with my iMac software, the scanner software not working, problems with auto paper feeds and burning through too much ink. So with some doubt, I read some reviews and decided to give Epson a try, purchasing an XP-830. Not only does it take up much less space than my old HP photosmart, but it works 100% better in all aspects. It uses much less ink, scans flawlessly, prints beautifully and has a slick method of operating, using a unique paper tray that retracts.. I am glad I found this printer.

Like the duplex printing. Have not used for photos yet. To save ink, been using fast draft setting and quality is definitely draft. Wifi printing seems to work fine thus far.
