Needed a printer that would print CD's. The HP rep inside Best Buy actually brought the printer to my attention (he is very knowledgeable and has been helpful on other occasions). Almost didn't buy Epson because my last printer 820 had terrible paper handling and jammed constantly and couldn't handle thick stock. This printer has direct paper feed for thicker stock and CD printing which I needed so I took a chance. Glad I did - works great with good print quality. Very pleased.

This printer is great.....connected easily (wireless) to all my computers...prints quickly and with good quality..

This is an awesome, dependable printer. The setup was super easy and it prints super easily from apple devices.

I am pleased with the quality of the pages. Scanner is excellent too. I only wish the paper tray held more sheets.

after initial glitches were resolved (problem with Eevent manager), this printer works very well. has a preload tray for plain paper, as well as photo paper - no switching things around when you want to print a picture. very sharp, clear pictures and images. haven't tried faxing yet, but I'm sure that works fine (if I set it up correctly) customer service was great- solved my problem with 1 call.

Used epson printers forever and very pleased. My main reason for purchase was this printer prints labels on cds and DVDs that are frankly unmatched. Epson ink dries fast and great product.

The printer works well and was reasonably priced. The footprint is not too large.

I have had this printer for a fairly short time but I am very pleased with its performance. It was very easy to set up and does a great job with all of its functions. I especially like how the output tray retracts when not in use. It does seem to use quite a bit of ink but I'm hoping that's because I'm using the cartridges that came with it. We'll see how it does after I replace them.

Purchased to replace HP printer that died. Cost was in line with expectations. Wanted to be able to print photos as well as various documents. I scan documents every month, so that was a must. So far this has been a great printer for all my uses. The print quality is great. The software is easy to use , as are the front screen menus. I like that the tray retract when not in use and push out automatically when you start printing.

After researching several brands of printers, decided on this one because it had all the features I wanted and good reviews. Worked great at first. After three weeks the power button froze and control panel went black. Called Epson support. They had me run several different types of tests, which were all unsuccessful. Told me they were sending replacement free of charge. Received replacement and up and working fine so far. Hope second time things run smoother.

This was a very good price for a good inkjet all-in-one printer. It works well for text printing and also does a very good job printing photos. The only thing that I am not as happy with is the price of replacement Epson ink cartridges. But almost any name brand inkjet replacements are more costly today , unless you go with econo-buy, off-brand items.

The Epson Xp-830 is easy to set up and very easy to use!!! It makes clear color and also Black & White copies>

We have had Epson printers for years and have been very happy with most. Wanted to buy this XP-830 in hopes it would be the right replacement for our old Artisan 837 (which no longer has the print quality it used to have and ink has become increasingly hard to come by for it), but find we are somewhat disappointed with the XP-830. Cons: (1) The ink doesn't dry very quickly - you cannot highlight anything without the ink bleeding... might be ok if you wait a few days, but if I'm going to highlight something, I usually need to do it right away after printing. (2) It doesn't hold much paper, though it holds enough for our use, would just rather that it held more. (3) Don't care much for the flip up panel on the front, but it's ok. I held off setting up the printer after my original purchase or I might have returned it, but unfortunately I waited too long and missed my return window. I don't feel too bad though, as I did purchase it on one of Best Buy's great Deal's of the Day, so it won't be a huge loss when I decide to buy another printer.

Has everything I wanted in a printer. DVD reader, camera chip, and memory stick. Can print photos, copy, fax and scan. Like the separate ink tanks.

I sort of wish I had bought the larger printer I was first looking at as we print more than I realize and we have to keep adding paper. This one does a nice print job however I found it difficult to find the replacement Epson 410XL ink (not at Best Buy). I am surprised it ran out of the regular black ink so quickly. I will pick up more and see how it does from here going forward.

Had never had an Epson printer. Bought this particular model to enable me to print directly on CDs. It works like a charm. So glad I bought it. Wished I had known about it before now.

Printer is an upgrade from an XP-440. It is capable of printing in less time and both sides (which saves paper). It has a better resolution when copying photos. Much better printer.

Easy to set up, fast, clear copies, auto two side print convenience and great sale price. Love it!
