The scanning feature is slow and cumbersome. Print quality and speed is satisfactory. I miss my Cannon I had to replace.

Easy to setup. Decent color printing for an inkjet printer for basic printing.

Best function of this pinter is the wireless capability. Once I got it setup on my home network, I was easily able to print not only from my computer but from my smartphone as well.

I have difficulty with the paper filling into the paper feed drawer. I have had to remove the photo tray to insert the letter size paper tray. I have difficulty because the paper tends to get paper jammed. The problem continued for a time after the printer was set-up. I still have some some paper jams continuing. However overall, I find the printer to do the jobs I need to do with it.

Easy to set up and use. My disappointment is it goes through ink very quickly. Still a little slow to print and even slower after its turned off.

out of box set up is easy. connection to router simple. prints text and photos well. completely satisfied

Purchased this printer to replace a HP Photosmart 7510. The Epson rep was at the store and helped me make this choice. It is listed as an all-in-one printer and technically it is but the fax has to have a land line versus the HP's Efax which is a thousand time more convenient. the ink cartridges are kind of small and I find myself changing them much more often than in the HP this replaces. Not sure I would buy this printer again if given a choice.

Printer had all the features I was looking for at a great sales price. I am not a prolific user so I have not put it through a strenuous test, but I am very pleased with its printing, scanning and copying so far. It was very easy to set up - I have it paired with a desktop via USB and wireless to my laptop. Have always used HP printers, but have was burned by my last one. Hopefully, this one will be here for the long haul.

The XP-830 does what you need a personal all-in-one printer/scanner/fax to do, does it reasonably well, and is both reasonably priced and uses reasonably priced ink. My previous printer seemed to need $85 worth of cartridges every time I needed to print a few pages... way too expensive to operate. Never again a Hewlett-Packard... pity, I remember when they were a good company.

This printer is very conflicting. It prints nicely, and the ability to scan and fax is useful. But it's fairly complicated to use and set up. And it paper-jams ALL THE TIME. So much so that my husband has started printing things out at work, rather than at home, just to avoid the frustration of paper jams.

Easy to use, once it was downloaded, etc., which took over an hour as I'm not a techie & good thing I had someone to install it for me. Beautiful color, I use it for iphoto printing. Upon a return visit to Eastlake Best Buy, it was a good thing one of your knowledgeable salesmen knew to show me an Epson instead of an HP (which I had for 7 yrs.). Epson only makes printers, that's it! Consumer Reports gives it a top rating, also. Thanks.

This printer was exactly what I was looking for a home office....the all in one capability really makes this a do it all printer. It is very compact and doesn't take up much room on the desk. The wireless feature makes it easy to print from any of our family's devices which comes in handy with a large family. Set up was a breeze and took around 30 minutes...I kept walking away so could have taken less if I was waiting around.

The Epson XP-830 does a good job at printing documents (haven't printed photos yet) but the one downside is that the plastic printer case attracts a lot of dust and needs to be wiped down frequently. It's been difficult to find printer ink at local outlets since it's a newer cartridge (410).

I would give this printer 5 stars if it wasn't for some parts being easily abused. I had to return my first printer because it came out of the box (never opened - not open-box product) with plastic parts falling out. I had a warning on the weakness of those parts so I use my new one with caution. It does work great - just need to handle carefully! It is not made for abuse.

My HP dried up so I purchased the Epson. So far it’s been very easy to use and prints great.

Purchased this printer which includes a fax to add to existing network. Prior reviews mentioned this one is easier on ink usage than HP printers. Not sure yet, but hope that is true. One downside I found is the slowness of scanning IF you start scan from the printer. I found that starting a scan from your computer is much faster. Printing seems clear and nice. So far so good!

Just set up my Epson printer. Very easy and great quality prints. Evan has test for photo quality paper. Has print fax copy scan and web connection. And less expensive ink.
