Great option for scanning multiple pictures quickly

I have quite a few boxes full of photo albums. Been scanning for a while now with no problems and great quality. Like that this will scan the back automatically too. I was a bit concerned that the 600 dpi wouldn't look good on the 65" TV display but they are fine. Wouldn't touch this job if I had to use a flatbed scanner.

Works very well on desk top, but did not work on my laptop ( software issues),, Tech Support was slow ans useless. I eventuality hung up about to return product after I re-installed for 5th time Then installed scanner on another computer and now works GREAT Must have been a conflict with another program on laptop.

I bought this for double-sided scanning so that I could capture the writing on the back of all our photos. My only complaint is that for the price it is very sensitive and jams a lot for no apparent reason. I'm guessing that the sensors are sensitive so that photos are not damaged. I scanned tens of thousands of photos with no damage. I also wish it had an adapter for photos that were thicker than normal. Instead I bought a flat bed scanner for those and scanned both sides.

Bought this scanner for my husband to scan old photos. Nice to scan several photos in one set, not one at a time.

Unit is easy to use, does great job of scanning and FAST!. I could not believe the speed of the unit. I was skeptical but I have never been disappointed by an EPSON product.This lives up to it's reputation. You do need to clean the bed occasionally with a microfiber cloth if photos are dusty

It’s a hungry Tiger .. eating your documents and turning them into the world of digital images. Recommended backup of file images to a recordable CD or DVD and also backup to a 64 or 128 GB thumb drive or SSD drive for long term digital storage.

Good scans. I have a large stack of pictures and this makes quick work of them.

The scanner was very easy to setup and use. I was able to scan around a thousand photos in a couple hours. I let the auto correct do its thing, only kept the corrected scan and was very happy with the results.

Have had this product for two months and would highly recommend it. The scans turn out awesome and have help digitize many memories. Plus going through all of the photos created a great opportunity for family bonding.

Husband used this to scan photos & really likes it. I'll be scanning documents. Looking forward to getting rid of boxes of papers & 40 yrs of photos that will now be searchable.

So setup was easy, run installation program, plug in scanner and turn it on, and Windows sees it no problems. So far the initial scans all have white streaks in them, which the troubleshooting guide says is dust. Working on cleaning process to see if this removes the white streaks. Don't have this issue with other document feed scanners I've tried these pictures on. Bought because scanner can do both sides at once, and if you use the Epson Document Capture Pro software, it will stitch the front and backside together into one photo, which is great to capture the writing on back side of old photos. So far this has worked, so give it 3 stars, but until I can get the white streaks out, I can't give it higher score.

I love this scanner. I have hundreds - maybe thousands- of photos to scan for posterity. I created about five files in just a few minutes. It takes longer to sort the pictures than scan them.

I scanned about 10,000 pictures with this, no joke i got it to scan a large trove of pictures for an older lady who had crates full of pictures dating back to the 20s.

The installation of the software is bad. No CD you have to download and stumble through it the installation with no instruction. Hard to find the software you need from there web site they give you no instruction. Took forever. Extremely Poor installation. I had to call support to install the software could not understand the person talking on the other end, poor voice quality had to have them repeat what they where saying on every sentence. The 1st level support person could not help me with the install of the software had to go to 2nd level support. What a mess. Took over one hour. Need a USA person for support. Once you get the software and driver installed the product is excellent. The quality is great and it scans really fast. Software is easy to use. Fix the installation Epson. I give you a F - for installation. For that large price tag on this product a install CD is needed... Cheap Cheap Cheap! Would not recommend this product just because of installation. Installed on Windows 10 home edition.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife after seeing on the "Ellen" show. She loves it and is in the process of scanning the many boxes of photo's we have.
