Customers frequently mention the FastFoto FF-640's ease of use, excellent image quality, and user-friendly software as significant advantages. The scanner's compact size is also a plus for many users. However, some customers find the price to be a drawback, and a few have reported occasional issues with paper handling. Despite these minor drawbacks, the positive feedback on ease of use and image quality is prominent.

I have scanned thousands of pictures using an HP scanner with a feeder that was OK but getting old. I saw that the FastFoto came out and received great reviews. Since I still have a few thousand to scan I bought it. A little pricy but it is an awesome scanner. The time savings and quality are work the money. Very fast at about 1 sec per picture. Quality is great. I would highly recommend.

The Epson - Fastfoto Ff-640 is truly High-Speed at 300 dpi for one side, but expect delays at 600 dpi and for two sides. My three-day project of four decades of old photos would have been completed had the second (or back) sides appeared darker. I may re-run my batches to scan the 'backs' for clearer results. Overall, I browsed online and Bestbuy.com for the fastest photograph scanner!

Does a great job of scanning many photos. Occasional jamming, but generally does a great job. Expensive but the time it saves makes it worth the investment.

This scanner is extremely fast at scanning photos. It is almost industrial grade. I scanned 200 4x6 photos at 300dpi in about 2 minutes. I couldn't believe how fast these were. Now, when it comes to quality of actual scan, it's not quite as good as regular flatbed scanner...but I say with the speed this thing has, it's worth getting a tiny less quality scan and enjoy speed.

I have had my eye on this scanner for two years and I finally got it. It makes scanning old photos a breeze! I love that it scans both sides and enhances the photo in one step. I made a scrapbook with photos from the 50’s & 60’s and I used the back of the photos, with the original handwriting to journal. It is great.

Does a great job scanning photos and documents into computer. At one picture per second it is lightning fast and I can get a stack of pictures done in no time. I like that it will scan and give you not only the original picture scan but also a color corrected version as well. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was lack of documentation with the unit and that software must be downloaded since there is no CD. For something at this price, there should be a CD and an instruction book with more information than a quick start guide.

The Epson FF-640, is worth every penny it cost, have scanned over 2000 pictures so far, fast and efficient. Does as it claims one photo every second at 300 DPI, also scans front and back at the same time if you select for it to do that, Great way of preserving photo memories.
