Great for Home and Office Use!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this scanner has been a great improvement to my home and office, I am using it for Photos and Documents/Receipts. It's fast, and I like the save features and simple solutions to grouping the documents. I will say, receipts can get jammed up if they're not in good condition...and I'd probably stay away from trying to scan those crazy CVS receipts on any scanner! Anyway, I also like the way you can enhance old photos automatically, especially if you're not a photoshop or photo editing expert, or if you simply don't have time to go through and enhance every one of your old photos, you can opt to allow this software to do it for you as you scan them in, or you can leave the photo as is, you'll get to see side by side comparisons and choose your favorite, or save it both ways. I've said enough, buy it...it's a great product.

Excellent Scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Epson scanner is really fast and produces a great image. It scan a wide variety of sizes, was easy to set up. Even setting up the wireless connection to my IPad was easy. The separate Epson software is a little funky but work fine. A little pricy but worth it if you’re going to be doing a lot of scanning

Excellent for scanning a lot of print photos
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very well designed machine. You can but as many as 50 prints in at once, and it smoothly runs them about one per second, scanning both front and back (if the back of the photo has any writing on it, such as information about when it was taken or who is in the picture). you can add data to each collection of pictures, for date, place and who is in the photos--making it very easy to find what you are looking for (if you simply took a photo of the print picture with your mobile device the photo image would be dated today-not with the actual date of the photo. This is a major drawback which this Epson solves). The software with the Epson is very simple and allows you to edit your photo once it's scanned. I've done more than 10,000 pictures in the last 2 weeks. This wonderful machine makes it easy and fun.

Out performed expectations
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although this scanner was expensive, it was worth every dollar. Easy to use. Scanning speed and quality was better than expected. I’ve scanned over 8,000 photos with only an occasional jam due to photo thickness variations.

Expensive, 1 of the best pieces of equipment I own
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have thousands of paper photos and reams of statements and reports that I don't feel comfortable throwing away without a copy somewhere. With this machine, I scanned in over 1500 photos in the first couple of weeks that I had it. Actually takes more time to sort and organize than to scan. It also creates an enhanced version and you can keep original and enhanced or delete the one that you don't want. Also automatically copies anything that is on the back. if there is nothing on the back, no copy made. As far as the documents, I have copied over 10 years of statements in about 2 hours of work. 50-75%of that time was again sorting and organizing, and filing the pdf's, scanning took almost no time. Wish that I had gotten one years ago.

Great for it's purpose
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This photo/document scanner is pricey, but does what can't be done on any regular copy machine. For people like me that have literally thousands of old photos laying around in boxes and drawers, this is the only way to go to be able to scan and organize them. It scans a photo a second, and you can load up to 30 photos at a time. So, thirty photos in 30 seconds! There is a cover sheet included for old photos or paper clippings (or whatever) that may be tattered or have bent edges that protects it while going through the scanner. If there is writing on the back of a photo, that too gets scanned at the same time the photo is scanned. There is a color corrector for old discolored photos that enhances them back more to their original coloring. If you choose, it will automatically scan the photo as is and with the color correction--both ways with one scan. You may notice the scanned photo is maybe a bit less perfect than the original on some photos, but that did not bother me. I'm just thrilled there is a way to scan them and perhaps actually be able to look at all of those memories instead of groaning every time I look at a drawer full of chaos. It felt good to throw away a lot of photos I don't care to keep when scanning them and tossing all of those old negatives that will never, never, never be used. Their time has passed. To sum it up--If you are looking for a way to organize lots of pictures (or newspaper clippings or documents), this is the way to go. When researching, I narrowed it down to this one pretty fast.

Great photo scanner!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No more scanning on a flatbed one photo at a time. This thing is very easy to use, great image correction for old faded photos, works with many sizes of photos up to 8x10, auto-feeds a stack of photos at the rate of about 1 per second, scans both sides of the photo if there is anything detected on the back, can save both the originals and the corrected photos, comes with a cleaning cloth to keep the inside free of dust and lint. This is SO much faster and better than trying to scan photos on a flat-bed scanner then manually correcting each one with image correction software! Very happy with this purchase.

Overall very happy.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Work very good. Work at fast speed with lower resolution to make scanning doc quick and easy. Also can run scanner slower to get better resolution. Worked perfectly for me so far. I used it directly hooked up to mac and achieve quick speeds for scanning. The UI app to run scanner works well but app is not the pretty or intuitive as you expect from an app. But the app does job. Box received from Best Buy good condition. Overall very happy.

A Great Photo Scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to scan photos myself as my past experience with any scanner was not good. This scanner is fantastic. The photos are clear and the scan time fast. There is even an option to correct older photos that are faded and keep both .It also will scan the back of a picture if there is writing on it . This helps identify year and event if written on the back .Polaroids are clear as well and there is a special setting for them so that they scan through . I highly recommend this scanner. I have not used it for documents yet but plan to at some point.
