Wow, wow, wow. holy cow!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, wow, wow. holy cow! Works like a charm. I have put hundreds of photos through it so far and still have a lot more to go. It even does the panorama photos with ease. Definitely worth the purchase price if you have a lot of photos. It is so fast even on the 600 dpi setting that I use. The automatic touch up is great too; I save both the original and the touch up and it has a quick edit feature for rotating photos.

The best machine for lots of uploads
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t say enough good about this machine. I’ve used it on pictures ranging in size from wallet to 8x10. It does a great job. The software is easy to use and helps to organize the newly converted photos. My parents have stacks of old 35mm photos (most in 3x5 size). It is so awesome to be able to place 25-30 in the feed tray and watch them scan through at the rate of about 1 per second. It you only have a couple of hundred pictures to scan, a cheaper table scanner might be the way to go. However, if you have lots of photos to scan and demand a good quality result, it is hard to beat this scanner. Well made and easy to use!

Thousands of photos to scan and so little time!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have thousands of pictures to scan and little time to do it. This product is user friendly and allows us to scan in batches. We have no room for totes and albums full of pictures but they will all sit comfortably on our computer. Our cloud space and a 4 terabyte external hard drive give us secure back ups just in case. This project was so large that we were afraid to ever start it but with our FastFoto it is running smoothly. And when someone wants a picture, well it’s a matter of seconds instead of hours to locate and send it electronically. This unit is reasonably priced and does a fantastic job!

Fast and worth every penny for family photos.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great quality scans and fast! This device was worth every penny when scanning in countless amounts of family photos; literally saved me days, yes days! The software worked very well; only feedback is the auto color enhancement is a little funky, however is disabled by default and maybe it has it’s uses in some instances - not to worry though you can have an original scan and a second copy enhanced, not like you need to re-scan. Thank you Epson and the time you saved, did I mention it’s fast!

FAST!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fast, excellent quality scanning, even at 600 DPI. Feeder had only 2 misfeeds in over 1000 scans, and those were due to debris on the back of the photo from pulling the photo off old glue photo albums. Spent more time getting the photos off albums then I did scanning. Works with Mac OS Mojave, with new drivers at Epson.com right after Mojave came out, good for you Epson! Highly recommend. (I also have an Epson flatbed scanner V600, and while good for negatives and slides, it is slooooww for prints, I would have been senile before finishing my >1000 print project if I had to use the V600 for the project.)

Love this scanner so far
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I have been very impressed with the FastFoto FF-680W photo scanner. It is very fast and is easy to operate once you do it a few times. I have thousands of photos to catalog and I couldn't imagine doing it with a flatbed scanner.

Great- mostly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a great unit. The contrast of the scanned images is a bit higher than I had anticipated but the resolution is good and the speed is...well, amazing. For the project I am working on the speed is more valuable than absolute quality since I'm scanning photos that span nearly a century and over 5000 of them. I would definitely recommend this for any family archiver but would hesitate to recommend it for someone at the artistic level. Worthy of 5 stars all told.

Perfect scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me a while to get started on my scanning project, but now I wish I had started earlier because this scanner is so easy and fast. I have been scanning hundreds of photos from my photo albums. The feature that is most appreciated is that it gives an image of the photo as is, plus an enhanced image, plus an image of the back of the photo only if there are any notes written such as names, places etc. All 3 images in about 2 seconds. If you have decades of photos, I would highly recommend this scanner.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast and easy to use along with setting it up on my Apple desktop was simple. Did over 8000 photo's in no time the best way was connecting it with the cord rather than using the wifi was mu ch faster.

Picture scanner is awesome
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Crazy fast, super quality scanner for tons of pics. Need to follow the direction on how to keep the scanner clean. It tells you when it isn’t but in order to keep scanning without interruption, it is best to make sure you use best practices. It’s all in the start guide. I am very impressed with this scanner.

Great scanner for digitizing family photo archives
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After some research, I purchased this scanner to tackle a large project to digitize several generations of family photos. In a matter of a few days I've scanned the first 3000, and am very pleased with the scanner's performance. After pulling photos out of old albums I can scan stacks of up to about 50 photos at a time in a wide variety of sizes, both color and black and white. I am using the option to automatically color correct photos, and it is working great even on old, yellowed, and faded color photos. Many of the resulting scans in both color and B&W look much better than the originals I was scanning. When there are notes written on the backs of photos, the option to scan the backs also is working well, though I've had to set it down to the most sensitive setting to make sure it picks up some fainter handwriting. It's been able to take most photo papers and even old newspaper clippings without jamming or issues, and the only things that have been challenging have been some thicker photo postcards which are very stiff. I will need to use a flat scanner for some of the old large format prints and a separate slide scanner for slides, but this machine is doing the heavy lifting on the printed photos. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent batch photo sheet-feed scanner.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sheet-feed photo scanner is great! I've scanned a couple of thousand photos so far, mostly in stacks of up to 36 photos, and it hasn't jammed once. The software is good, but due for an upgrade - I mostly just used it to control the process, assign file names, etc., and then did any additional editing in another program. Overall, great package for digitizing all those boxes of old prints.

Preserving memories
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We found several old photos from our grandparents and great grandparents and wanted to scan them in to be able to preserve them and share with other family. This scanner has been a true benefit in being able to do this. The resolution is great and the speed of being able to scan stacks and stacks of pictures is remarkable. I was concerned about the cost of the scanner, but when comparing purchasing the scanner or having the photos professionally scanned, it was an easy decision.

Great - FAST scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Epson comes through again!! This scanner is super fast, with a small footprint and produces great results. Easy to set up wirelessly. I have scanned about 1000 pictures (only 10,000 to go lol) with no issues whatsoever. Was a little sketchy about spending this much money but in the end, will save a lot money over having a commercial company scan all of my old photos. Highly recommend!!

FastFoto FF-680W - Photo Digitizing Success!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This photo scanner works as designed. My experience has been fast and smooth operation with all different sizes of photos. The auto correction feature works very well particularly in cases of enhancing older photographs from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Fast and Easy to use
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great scanner. I needed something to speed the process of scanning years of snapshots from the film days. My bed scanner made good images but took several minutes per picture. This makes quick work of the process. This comes highly recommended on the web reviews I saw and it lives up to the hype. I am able to scan through a box of 4x6 prints in an hour or so. It takes a lot long to figure out when pictures were taken than it does to scan them.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner was easy to set up and use. It scans photos very quickly with good automatic touch up. It also scans documents quickly and clearly. Wish i had just spent the extra money and got this instead of buying a different scanner to scan old photos. That one was much more cumbersome to use. With COVID and some extra time i decided to tackle my old photos and ponied up for this scanner that was designed to do the deed right.
