This unit replaced a 12 yr old infocus dlp. Glad i went with this lcd for price and quality. I can leave blinds open and see awesome picture.

This projector has a great resolution. I use it outdoors for family night. You do not need it to be dark to see the picture.

Combined with a casting device this projector does everything we needed. Leveling features seem to be the one item that could use more improvement with more durable material.

Purchased the Epson 1040 to replace an Epson 730 (720DPI- 2000Lumens) that was damaged by an E-surge. I Debated about spending the extra to upgrade from 720DPI/2000 Lumens to 108/3000L. REALLY glad I did. The 1080DPI has a fantastic picture and at 3000L is very bright with bright vivid colors. Great for anything from night with all the lights out, to a fully lit family room. Like watching a 92” HDMI TV. The projector casts a 92” picture at 9 feet from the screen (ceiling mount) and could still go a bit larger but that is the limit of my screen. Set up was easy. I mounted it to the ceiling mount and then flipped the picture and did the keystone adjustment. In hind sight I would have set the projector upright and then flipped the image as it make reading and navigating the menu easier when seeing it right-side up. Keystone adjustment was very easy. Adjusted in minutes. The powered USB port and second HDIM input makes it possible to plug my Chromecast directly into the projector with no other connection required. Fan noise is barely audible with a totally quiet room but was the sound is on, even from just the project without the surround sound going, the fan is not to be heard. Was happy with the old Epson 730, but the 1040 is FAR better than the older 730. VERY happy with it. Would definitely recommend this projector.

Love this projector! It's the only full 1080p projector for around 500 dollars. Would have given it 5 stars except it does not have an audio output. Otherwise it's great!

Projector Very clear, the screen is awesome, and the wireless conector save me a lot of space and cables.

Bought product for a Birthday party. The product worked as advertised. the boys enjoyed the movie. The only issue is that the speaker on the unit is very hard to hear.

Works great for gaming and movies. Sound quality is alright but if placed on eco mode it's a lot better.

I bought this for my kids in Africa that needed 220 voltage to work. They tell me it works perfectly.

Clear picture but not for small screens. We couldn't fit it on our 80 inch screen without putting it in front of the couch.

Works well, sound good in normal size room. In very large space may need use additional speaker.

I have one of these and thought it would make a great gift for each of my kids. They loved it.

We were looking for a replacement projector that would work with our current setup and this unit fit the bill. Not the top of the line but great bang for your buck.
