I got this projector to get a big screen quickly and as cheap as possible. This projector works well in lit rooms, but definitely is fantastic in the dark. I got so many compliments of how it looks just like being in the movie theater. I watched GoT season 8's The Long Night episode on this which was shot all at night. I could see so much detail that I couldn't on my 4k TV. Under normal mode, this project is loud in my opinion. There is an ECO mode which makes this project extremely quiet. All I feel is the hot air flowing out of it. The brightness is reduced ever so slightly in ECO mode, but I think it is worth it considering it saves LCD life and keeps things quiet.

I purchased to ceiling-mount in my home theater room. Image quality is fantastic, and I love how quiet this model is in ECO mode, which should yield much longer lamp life. ECO mode is plenty bright in a room with minimal ambient light. The only minor challenge I had was with attaching to my ceiling mount. The front feet of this projector are plastic, and not removable. I have a very good ceiling mount, but it took a lot of adjusting to get it to connect to the limited number of threaded mount locations on the bottom of the projector. Overall, I highly recommend this projector!

Works great, the picture quaility is really good and bright , contrast is adjustable with picture settings. Works well in a lighted room but for optimal use in that situation , use a high gain silver or grey screen. Sound quality isn't great but it has a small single speaker. Pair it with an audio system or external speakers via av wires and it's wonderful. Bulb life should be several years in eco mode , like 5 and about 2 yrs in normal mode. Not a huge quality loss in eco mode especially if u adjust picture settings .overall, bright sharp , vibrant color . And the price is usually decent considering the other options.

Bought this for family movie night outside. The image quality met my expectations for a projector at this price range. The brightness and contrast were very exceptional in my opinion. The only downside is there is no audio out, so I had to buy an hdmi Audio splitter but if you plugged a firestick or something with bluetooth into this you could always use bluetooth speakers instead. Overall I think it's a great product and have no qualms about recommending it.

We move around a lot so I got this projector to use for those in between times when we don't have a TV. This thing is definitely brighter than I thought it would be, I can use it in the day time no problem if I just close the curtains. Setup is super easy, I just use an hdmi cord and hook it up to my laptop. I project it right on to my living room wall and the picture looks great. Only had for about a month so far, so we'll see how long the bulb lasts.

Simple to use, plenty of features, easy to adjust. It’s a little loud until you turn ECO mode on. When it is on though, nice and quiet and picture still looks great.

3LCD gives great picture. Easy to set up and use. Fan a little loud. Wish it had greater throw ratio, but works well if installed about 9ft from screen.

This is a powerful projector that can be used even in brightly lit rooms. It has many features only found on high end projectors such as auto keystone, full screen setting and more. Build in lens cover is a very nice feature. It's a modern projector so it has all of the right inputs, HDMI etc. I not only recommend this projector but we're about to purchase another. Way to go Epson!

I just received it and is a bit big but its really the image quality I was looking for. The only thing is the audio output that is a bit old, just need a cable to adapt it. Love it

I have had several family movie nights since I purchased this. It has been so much fun. The picture is great and it was super easy to set up. The built in speaker is pretty much worthless so you have to attach the dvd player output to a small stereo of some sort. I used my Bose Wave, but any small stereo with the ability to accept inputs from your dvd will work.

We use our projector to complete training almost daily. It replaced an older version and the quality is great! We are very happy with the projector, it was easy to install. (Just plugged and played as we already had one set up. The settings were easy to understand, even though we have to upgrade our screen to view the entire viewing area after adjusting the size through settings.

Bought this for my grandchildren. We borrowed the same unit from a friend a it was fantastic. Watched a football game in the yard sitting at the fire pit.

This unit was purchased strictly for budget reasons. I had a client that was on a strict budget and this Epson best suited their needs. After installing this with a 120" 1 series Screen Innovations screen, I connected the sources to the surround sound Yamaha receiver and off we went. To my surprise, this projector was insanely bright and still images looked great. It was when any fast motion was introduced where the projector showed it's weakness. The picture was not as crisp when watching fast motion. Overall, for the price of this unit, it is a great buy for the price.

We use this for a movie night at our church. We used a 120" screen to project it on. The colors were bright and sharp. It was very easy to set up and run. The congregation and Pastor were impressed. We now will have may more Movie Nights. We did have to run the sound through another amp, because it was not loud enough for what we needed.

I bought a more advanced projector because my old miniature projector stop working after 1 year. When I set up this projector, I was blown away by the color, brightness, screen adjustment, sound, etc. It does not even compare on any level to my old one. I love it and I am happy with my purchase.
