I have only owned one projector before this, but it has been a few years since then. That projector was so good that it ended up only being used for Halloween displays. I have a OLED TV in my living room right now, but was looking for something bigger to watch when we have company over. I started looking at projectors, because upsizing my television would only gain 10" diagonally at a significant cost. I decided that I would try a 1080p projector because it would not replace my TV, and 4K units are twice as expensive. After a lot of research the Epson Home Cinema 1080 ended up as my first choice. Epson obviously made big changes from the 800 series projector which reviewers criticized because it had only 1 HDMI port and no zoom, in exchange for greater lumen output. This projector keeps the increased output, and adds another 100 lumens. The 1080 also gets zoom, and 2 HDMI ports. Another big plus is that it has built in WIFI.
Unboxing the projector led me to a quick setup of roughly 10 minutes. I was actually shocked at the brightness of the picture, I was able to see clear sharp images projected onto a denim colored wall, in a bright room. The cooling fan while not silent , is far from distracting. I was initially dubious about the manufactures claim of a 300" image. The projector did easily reach that size, on the default brightness. The colors are well saturated, with good contrast even on the dark wall. Even fast motion appeared smooth with no blurring or edge staggering. Image correction is a breeze , with a broad range of settings on the projector and remote.
One of the concerns I had about projectors was the cost of maintenance. Online prices for replacement lamps left me at ease, with lamps selling for as little as $50. I know that this review makes this projector seem perfect. I think the picture and features are fantastic for the price, but there are a couple of weak points. Unless you are using HDMI, you are stuck with RCA jacks as part of composite input for audio, or you connect your audio via a headphone jack. Choose one or the other, because the projector’s built in speaker sounds like a homemade tinfoil kazoo. I opted to use the headphone jack connected to a Yamaha sound bar, and am very satisfied with the results. If you can live with the audio limitations, this projector gets you the most 1080p bang, for any buck. The image quality and size capability of this projector cannot be beat dollar for dollar by the competition. I'm keeping mine. This is a review for the Epson Home Cinema 1080 3LCD projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

After using this projector, I’m extremely impressed! The first thing I love about this projector is how easy it was to set up out of the box. Using the included remote, it was easy to to customize the settings and adjust the projector according to my preferences. The next important feature to point out about this projector is how sleek it looks. The projector has a beautiful white appearance. I appreciate that there are buttons on the unit as well. This makes it easy to adjust my projector if my remote runs out of batteries.
The next key area worth discussing is the clarity and performance of the projector itself. The projector’s picture is clean and crisp. I am able to see even the finest details on the projector’s screen. I’m also amazed at how bright the projector’s LED light is. The picture is super bright on my wall. I’ve also been quite impressed with how quickly the projector starts up and shuts off. It only takes a few seconds for the fan to get up to speed as well as gradually shut down when I want to turn it off.
Another important area worth mentioning about this projector is how many devices it is compatible with. There’s plenty of ports on the back of the projector including AV slots, USB slots, HDMI ports, etc. This feature works great for plugging in an external streaming stick! Another feature that I really appreciate about this projector is the fact that there is a manufacturer-created app available on my iPhone, iPad, or MacBook that can be used to stream content wirelessly onto my projector! Using this app, I’m able to view and share pictures and websites. On the iPhone Epson projection app, I can even show live video from my phone’s camera. Overall, I’m very pleased with this projector and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a high-quality projector that’s fit for any movie! I’ve never seen a projector with such great picture quality! This is a review for the Epson Home Cinema 1080 3LCD projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Overall, the projector is very simple to set up especially for those who are not tech savvy. It's as simple as connecting the HDMI cable to the device that will be sharing its content to be connected and it automatically connects. For example, if you connect the DVD player with the HDMI cable to the projector it will start playing the movie without any prompting. The same goes for computer or other devices that can be plugged in. The only thing that might be a downside is when doing a mirror image on the projector from a phone you have to download the app to connect to the projector. It is possible to connect to the projector from the WiFi if the password is entered. However, it actually won't connect to mirror share anything to the projector. It's only slightly inconvenient when there isn't any space on the phone to add the app. But really most people will not be using a project with their phone. The projector does have its own built in speaker, but if its for a much larger audience it can easily be connected to external speakers with a RCA cable in the audio out port. Quality of image is also very clear and bright. I was able to easily add wireless speaker so I could do a movie outside. worked perfectly. very easy to connect. There are also multiple features to adjust the image like raising, reducing, enlarging, and it is even possible to adjust the sharpness of the video. The image itself can be shifted by using the key slider so that the projector screen is at a slight angle. This projector can be super easy for the least tech savvy person, just plug and play with no adjustments needed. But also has the features for the more tech savvy person to make all the adjustments needed. So I can play around with it and add features like extra speakers, adjust sharpness, hook it up to different devices, so overall. this is the perfect projector. for anyone to use. especially businesses. It means almost any employee can work it. “This is a review for the Epson Home Cinema 1080 3LCD projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

I have used a veriety of projectors from the cheap $50 to the more expensive $3k. This is a perfect aolution for at home theaters or entertainment. I have it set up in my livibg room with either my Fold 6, Switch 2, PS5 or comluter hooked up and it makes my living room feel like a theater. The image quality is awesome at 1080, the brightness is enough to be usable with all my lights on and windows open, and only gets better at night. I highly recommend this projector!

Epson Home Cinema 2350 4K Projector is a relatively affordable 4K projector that performs well in bright scenes, but not so much in dark ones. It has a compact design, a user-friendly interface, and a lot of smart features. It also has excellent color accuracy, a high brightness level, and a three-chip LCD design that eliminates rainbow artifacts. However, it has some drawbacks, such as a mediocre contrast ratio, a loud fan noise at max brightness, and a lack of advanced features like Dolby Vision, HDMI 2.1, and VRR. It also uses a pixel-shifting technique that creates a less sharp image than true 4K projectors. Overall, this is a good projector for the price, but not a great one. I would give it a 5-star rating

If you're desiring a decent entry level projector, this one will do the job as it really impressed my girlfriend.
It has some benefits over the HC880 model in that it has a zoom picture to increase or decrease the size of the picture, it has wireless network capabilities for miracast (haven't done that yet though), it has a total of 2 hdmi ports 1 vga port and 1 composite video input compared to the only 1 hdmi port of the 880, and its rated at 100 lumens higher brightness. There may be more differences but those are the major ones I can recall.

Bought this to replace my old projector and absolutely love it so far. The image quality is outstanding and shows in 1080p. The sound quality from the built in speaker is nothing to beag about, but is a good qaulity for this price range. I have mine hooked up to my samsung sound bar and subwoofer and it sounds great. This is an excellent hime cinema projector at this price range.

The Epson Home Cinema 1080 has quickly become a favorite part of my home entertainment setup. Paired with my Apple TV, it's been a game-changer for movie nights. The projector's full HD resolution and 3,400 lumens brightness make for clear, vibrant images that really pop on my screen.
Connecting it to the Apple TV was a breeze, and the integration feels seamless. The streaming experience has been smooth, and I love having all my favorite apps and shows readily available.
The fan noise is noticeable but not overly intrusive, and I appreciate the built-in speakers, even though they won't replace a dedicated sound system. The remote is user-friendly, and the overall design fits well with my living room's aesthetics.
My only minor gripe might be the black levels, which could be deeper for those who are more particular about contrast. But overall, it's been a fantastic addition to my home cinema setup and a great value for the price.
If you're looking to enhance your entertainment experience, especially if you're a fan of Apple's ecosystem, this projector might just be the perfect fit. Enjoying movies, music, and even casual gaming has never been this immersive!

Purchased this when the bulb burned out on my 10 year projector. The projector provides a high definition image and plenty of light for my application which is inside, in a normal to darkened room. I am glad I got this one with the zoom feature because with a 10 foot throw it would actually be too large an image without zooming back

This is a great starter projector. It's bright in a sunlit/lit room. Picture has great color, clarity and definition. Well-rounded projector. Use it daily with no issues so far. You will need an external speaker for better sound. My screen setup is at approximately 110-120 inches diagonally.

The 1080p/3LCD resolution gives crisp, clear images for movies. Having 2HDMI + RCA (audio + video) inputs makes it robust for connecting to older Amplifiers.
A bargain around $700. All the features of the more expensive projectors, well below their cost. External speakers makes the experience very enjoyable. Integral speakers adequate for a small room. Way better than XGA (which I also have) & VGA projectors.

I am very happy with this projector, as many others have said, the sound is not sufficient as is, but you are able to hook it up to another audio source. I use a receiver by way of a "audio extractor" that I also purchased at Best Buy. (It splits the HDMI signal and sends the sound to your receiver so that you do not have to use the headphone jack on the back of the projector unit.) The projector's video quality, brightness, and sharpness is excellent on my 120" screen. I purchased this projector because the bulb can be replaced by the consumer, (make sure you don't buy one that you can't replace the bulb yourself) Epson does sell at least one model that you cannot replace the bulb yourself, so shop carefully, making sure there is a external removeable cover on the model of your choice, which houses the bulb for replacement. With great brightness, and ability to get great cinematic sound via the extractor, the Epson Home Cinema 1080 meets all my needs. I highly recommend this projector and thoroughly enjoy it. It is my third projector, and by far the best.

Great picture quality for the price point. It runs quietly and is easy to use. I did have a little bit of an issue figuring out the audio settings. On my unit at least, the only HDMI input that allows you to send signal from the audio out port was HDMI 2. So small quirks, but I am happy with my purchase so far.
