This projector is great for the price. Has a excellent picture. Does great in low lighting.

Now, I don't know much about projectors but had a dlp one before which got pretty hot. This one is very clear, is visible in daylight and quite portable and easy to use. If it had Bluetooth out that would've been a nice way to hook up a sound bar near the wall without getting too many wires involved across the room. I use an actiontec wireless hdmi transmitter which works pretty well.

I love this projector no issues at all. The 3d option is a plus and the Wi-Di is cool love how you can screen mirror. Very good quality I bought a screen to bring with me on trips but use my wall for normal use still very good quality I recommend this projector.

Bought this projector for basement and has been very happy with this purchase, great pic quality.

This projector exceeded my expectations. We purchased it to replace a 6 year old projector that had failed in one of our conference rooms. It had a little shorter throw on it so we had to move the mount, but it was easily 50% brighter than the original projector and more clear as well. I can't speak to the more advanced or home theater options but as a conference room projector it does great.

Good picture even during the day, great picture at night, biggest complaint is the loudness of the fan for cooling. I had to turn on ECO mode which slowed down the fan dramatically, the picture got a little dim but still great for watching at night in the SUN Room!

Very nice budget projector! Good brightness nd clarity even when in a bright room.

This is my first projector. I bought it to watch outdoor movies with the kids and friends. It has a really crisp picture that I've been viewing on a 120" screen. I honestly was surprised at the quality of the picture. I spent tons of time trying to figure out which projector to go with and ultimately chose this one. I'm really glad I did as I have no complaints. I've set it up indoors a few times as well and it's awesome.

Good value. Comparable to units twice the cost. Excellent brightness and resolution at 9 ft.

I did a lot of research on all the budget projectors. And finally short listed and bought this one. Bright picture even in a fully lit room, loaded with all required features. Optima is nowhere to compare. BenQ can be compared but still Epson 2045 is better because of cheaper accessories (3D Glassesv$20, compatible with Samsung glasses), cheaper bulb and good Contrast ratio. No doubt Epson 2045 is a winner!!!

If you want a movie theater in your home for under $700 - the EPSON 2045 is the way to go. Team the magic little projector with a good upscaling BluRay player, a decent stereo amp, 2-way speakers and you're good to go. You do NOT need new audio equipment - old stuff will do very nicely. For a screen, I am projecting onto a 4 x 8 foot piece of hard foam insulation 3/4" thick and painted flat white. The picture is absolutely amazing and you will see things in familiar films that you never saw before. It will blow you away. My only complaint is that the projector-to-screen distance is too short. I have to place it just 10 feet from the screen to fill it which puts the projector in the middle of everything. I would have preferred the focal length be twice as long so the projector could be placed behind the viewers instead of among them.

The main purpose of this projector was to watch movies outside. I reviewed many projectors before finally deciding on this one. The picture is clear and crisp and setup was easy! The speaker is not very loud so I hooked up a sound bar to it.
