This is my first projector. I saw this in a friend's house and impressed with clarity and bought one. It has 2 HDMI, 1 USB, Full HD 1080p, supports 3d, 4K, screen mirroring and Intel WiDi. Very easy to set up. Epson has iProjector app to cast screen from mobile to projector, but that doesn't support videos and hence 1 point less.

This is a great unit. Nice and bright and easy to use. Really don't wast money on the less expensive ones. Compare that's what you need to do. This one just has better everything and it's so bright!! Hands down this one wins.

We purchased this for outdoor movie nights with the kids. We just set it up to watch game seven of the American League division series and live streamed the game. We used a 120" screen and it was HD quality in our backyard around a fire. This is an awesome product and I highly recommend it. Easy set up with phone, speakers or DVD

I purchased this projector after extensive research, as this was my first projector and I wanted to get it right. For me, I definitely got it right. After the purchase I also bought a 100" screen for indoor viewing and have a hard time getting the wife off it with her PlayStation 4 games. I then wanted something bigger, so I purchased the material to build a 144" screen for outdoor viewing. I invited eight guys over for a UFC fight to watch on the 144. Everyone was blown away. With a good HD feed it looks just as good as my 56" plasma. I played around with the 2D to 3D conversion with some glasses that I also purchased at Best Buy. Not like at the movies, it throws depth into the screen but not out. So I bought a movie made in 3D and all I can say is, WOW. At twelve feet away from the 100" screen there was definitely stuff one foot or closer in front of my nose. I don't know for sure but for under $1,000.00 I don't think I could have done better.

Awesome home theater, easy to set up. I used the online Projector Central Calculator Pro to calculate my distance from the screen/ size of screen/ etc. I mounted it on the ceiling to keep the kids from touching it. The projector turns on quickly, runs quietly, and was WAY cheaper than a flat screen tv. Our family loves it!

Impressed with the black levels and colors. It is bright enough in dark and moderately lit room. Fan noise is slightly audible. Factor in projector's placement from the screen (from the guided chart) so that you know where to mount the projector depending on your screen size. Overall much pleased.

Easy setup and like the wireless benefit. Quality viewing and clear projection pictures. When using for movies and videos, external speakers are necessay and easy to connect--the internal speakers won’t provide quality sound however that should be expected. Great for movies, gaming or backyard movie night.

Good picture easy to set up the picture enhancement works good on HDMI 1. The mirror casting worked very well from my Samsung Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S4

Picture quality is great for 1080p. Only the matter is heat. it suddenly drop the light by over heat, without any caution. Any fan noize loud when hot. I considered to replace the fan but not, since people in the net talk about the replacement causes another issue on the sensor.

Very easy to set up and operate. Brilliant picture and clarity. Very pleased with this purchase.

My first projector. Set up is very easy. Portability is fantastic, lightweight. Could not believe the amazing picture, clarity and colors. Projected on a white wall with cable service and DVD player on a pop up outdoor screen. 2200 lumens is a bright and not washed out picture with some sunlight through the windows. Speaker sound is good (not stereo) I added a sound bar, amazing. 3D will require Epson or compatible glasses (not included). Controls on projector and remote are simple to navigate. Adjusting picture and focus very easy to navigate. Have not used wireless yet. Very impressed and very satisfied with my Epson 2045 projector.

I would consider it the best starter home theater projector for that price range . High fidelity images all the way from 33 to 120 inches that I could test. WI-FI and MHL availability is an icing to the cake since it allows projection from a handheld device or stream directly from a streaming stick .

We bought this projector for weekend fun like watching movie or a game, and it does it's job nicely. The brightness is enough bright and colors are super vivid colors that you can match to TV! The projector fan does make a little noise in the start but it gets to okay level in about 10 minutes. We watched a movie and did not notice the fan noise. The projector has some features that I do not know how to use it. The basic setup gets done in like 10 minutes, super easy. The auto keystone is a nice feature, if you know what the keystone is and how much painful it is to adjust it manually. I started skeptical between buying the projector or a TV, I can safely say that I'm proud of buying this projector. I've projected up to 150" diagonal without any problem, and with the sharpness to see everything clearly. Overall, I gotta say that this is one of the best projector out there, and I am enjoying my buy. I'll update the review after a while if something happens or changes my point of view for this projector.

Probably the best bang for the buck home projector you'll find! Picture quality is excellent and the machine is relatively quiet! Plenty of features, including being able to hook your phone up directly to the projector to show everyone your vacation pictures!

I spent a lot of time reviewing similar priced projectors before I picked this one. This was also my very first projector. With that said I was speechless at how great the quality was. I was expecting a little lag while watching sports or playing ps4. But nope, none at all. I would highly recommend this projector. I use mine for Amazon Fire Stick (kodi), Ps4, and surveillance equipment. The only cons if any is that on some very dark scenes in movies, this projector doesnt get dark enough. But do not let that scare you away because all the pros combined knocks it out of the ball park.

Works perfectly, I would definitely say you need some speakers with it, but it does not have to be anything crazy. It works really well with ambient light and well with lots of light. The only time it does not blow me away from it when it is very bright and it is a dark scene but that it was I expected. the picture is great and very easy to set up. I did lots of researched and was worried the distance from the screen or the level of the screen would not work but it works perfectly. I could not be happier with the projector. Also, I use it with my Xbox one and it works great.

Picked up a 2045 and so far it has been great. My only issue with it is the short throw and how low you have to hang it when you ceiling mount it. I have a 92 inch screen and had to install the projector 11 inches from the ceiling. It's quiet on Eco mode and setting out of the box are really good.

Bought projector for doing movies in the backyard during the summer. It's just like at the drive in. Paired with my Bluetooth speakers and the wireless connection for movies was excellent. The picture was better than my tv that I payed more for.
