Excellent Quality and a Truly Great Projector

I recently purchased this projector, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is crisp, clear, and vibrant, making movies and presentations look professional and immersive. Even in a room with some light, the brightness holds up really well. The setup was quick and user-friendly, and the connectivity options are excellent — it works smoothly with laptops, phones, and streaming devices. The built-in speakers are surprisingly good, though I sometimes connect external speakers for a more cinematic experience. What I appreciate most is how quiet it runs compared to other projectors I’ve owned. It’s compact, easy to carry, and feels like a premium-quality product at a very reasonable price. Overall, this projector combines excellent quality with great functionality, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable device for both home entertainment and professional use.

Picture quality is really good. Super nice colors. For HDR viewing, the HDR10 setting needs to be adjusted. Default setting is 8, but typically a 4 works well, adds a bit of pop. With projecting hdr though, it’s a source by source adjustment. It just seemed an 8 was too dull for most content. Out of the box, SDR settings seem just right in cinema mode. I’m no expert by any stretch though. This is my second projector. The extra 4K detail is very welcome and a very noticeable upgrade from 1080p. For gaming, it seems great, I didn’t notice any lag, but do your research because it will not take full advantage of ps5 or series x, but I’m fine with that. This is a very bright projector, low lamp mode works for me in dark room, not sure about rooms with ambient light. The black level is not amazing, but this projector doesn’t cost $5,000 either. The vividness of day time scenes is pretty mind blowing though. Dim scenes are just fine too, just no inky blacks for sure. At this price point getting 4K lcd is worth the extra cost. So far I’m happy with purchase. Epson quality is great.

Good starter projector with a few quirks

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Overall it's a great projector with good brightness levels, good colors, and quiet fans that will work at a very large screen sizes. Installation into most setups will be a breeze with lens shifting and a wide range of zoom ratios. The bundled smart tv stick allows for a quick startup but is buggy enough that you can't rely on it to work and is best ditched for an external streaming stick like a chromecast/fire stick/roku etc. unless they commit to fixing the bugs. There's also some oddity with 4k HDR support. The built in Android TV stick some how has HDR enabled for all content at 4k60 with 8bit 4:2:0 but if you try to use 4k60 with a Chromecast then HDR is never detected - it's only detected if you select 4k30 and lower or 1080p60. When going to 1080p60 you can select 4k enhancement which supposedly doubles the pixel output but the signal is still coming in at 1080p so you're not still losing out. I suspect Epson is using some trickery to get 4k60 to work with their custom android TV stick. PROs: Good brightness - Easy to see in a lit room with normal lighting. Sun lit room may pose a problem. Low brightness is adequate for pretty much every viewing situation. Image clarity/sharpness - Even without a screen the image looks great on a gray wall and is sharp Colors - Bright and vivid with low to moderate ambient lighting. Some washout in brightly lit scenarios. HDR and colorspace options add some pop to colorful scenes. Install / adjustment - Lens zoom and Lens Shift capability make installation and customization a breeze. If you're using a platform mount the legs offer decent leveling capabilities. Manual focus is a bit soft and wish it had a more fine control but seems easy enough to get right. Sound levels at low and standard light output levels are quiet enough to not notice unless sound is muted and room is quiet. Smart TV features right out of the box- Android TV is great when it works correctly Cons "Smart" features - Bundled Android TV stick is buggy and really detracts from the experience. It's seamlessly integrated in to the projector but is frustrating enough to remove it to free up the HDMI port. -Freezes often and seemingly randomly. If USB power is left on then you must manually unplug it. -Bluetooth doesn't always automatically reconnect if disconnected (bluetooth only available through android tv stick) -Defaults to HDR10 output always Auto Iris feature can be a bit clicky and very audible if the scene /room is quiet Fan noise at high light output setting is loud enough to not want to use it unless listening to music or other content that will continuously drown it out. USB A power is 5v / 2a but not USB PD compliant so it won't power a chromecast 4k dongle Comes with 2 remotes (PJ remote /ATV remote) - One that controls the projector features + most android tv functions and one that controls android tv function only. - Both are bluetooth remotes with voice assistant capability - Projector remote controls everything EXCEPT bluetooth sound - volume buttons are for projector sound only - even if not enabled. -Android TV remote only powers on projector if HDMI CEC control is enabled and USB power is left on Doesn't seem to recognize content signal differences automatically - switching between SDR and HDR from Android TV or external streaming stick doesn't seem to work.

Excellent picture. Fan would be loud if you don't have a sound system and are only using the speaker on the projector; however, with a system, I don't even notice it. It's fairly large as well which is a bit burdensome but the overall quality makes up for it. Fairly luminescent as well as I can use it with the shades open on cloudy days and have a perfect picture.

I cannot say enough good things about the Epson Home Cinema 2350 projector. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the stunning 4K image quality and vibrant colors. The clarity and detail of the picture truly make you feel like you're in a theater right in your own home. The built-in Android TV platform is a game-changer, allowing me to easily access my favorite streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube without needing any additional devices. The interface is user-friendly and responsive, making it a breeze to navigate through apps and content. Setting up the Epson Home Cinema 2350 was a straightforward process, thanks to its convenient lens shift and zoom capabilities. I was able to quickly adjust the image size and position to fit my screen perfectly, ensuring a flawless viewing experience every time. The projector's brightness and contrast levels are impressive, providing a clear and sharp image even in a well-lit room. The cinematic experience it delivers is unmatched, whether I'm watching movies, sports, or playing video games. Overall, the Epson Home Cinema 2350 has exceeded all of my expectations and has become the centerpiece of my home entertainment setup. If you're looking for a top-of-the-line projector with 4K resolution, smart streaming capabilities, and exceptional image quality, look no further than the Epson Home Cinema 2350. A very nice smart 4k projector for about any use. I know this is advertised as a gaming projector, but I'm not really sure why. Nothing on the box states anything about it being a gaming projector. It does claim less than 20ms response time, which for a serious or competitive gamer is still not really good. For casual gaming this will be perfectly acceptable. From my experience with PS5 on this, the controller response is solid, but not impressive. This projector has Android TV and comes with two separate remotes for the projector itself and the Android TV. So you will have access to all your favorite apps and everything runs smoothly with no real lag when scrolling through media menus on various platforms. I think the app junkie will be more than pleased with what this projector has to offer. The picture quality is very nice on the 2350. I'm running this on a 90" screen in a small room and the entire picture is sharp from middle to edge. No blurring or issues on corners or edges. This replaces my 1080p projector I've had for several years and the picture is a noticeable improvement, even with 1080p video. Streaming movies and also playing Blu-Ray and 4k UHD discs off my set top unit look great. Sports also look great, with no ghosting or other issues. Definitely a nice 4K projector for a variety of uses.

It’s been a year since I started using the Epson Home Cinema 2350 4K PRO-UHD Smart Streaming Projector, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This projector has transformed my living room into a full-blown home theater! The 4K PRO-UHD resolution is stunning, delivering sharp, vibrant visuals with incredible clarity. Whether I’m streaming movies, watching sports, or gaming, the picture quality never fails to impress. The built-in Android TV is super convenient—it gives access to all my favorite streaming apps without needing additional devices. The brightness and color accuracy are excellent, even in moderately lit rooms. The setup was simple, and the flexible placement options make it easy to adapt to any space. After a year of consistent use, the performance remains top-notch with no issues whatsoever. The Epson 2350 has truly been worth every penny, and I look forward to many more years of cinematic enjoyment. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their home entertainment experience!

Had a 1080p version of an Epson projector for 8 years. It finally popped and gave out one day. Lasted longer than my previous TV. Decided to upgrade to the 4k world and WOW! It can appear so clearly bright I have to turn the brightness down considerably--good problem to have. Video games on the Xbox Series S/X look spectacular on here. It does a solid 60 frames with no problem whatsoever. Also have a gaming PC hooked to it. It'll do 4k gaming around 20-30 frames, but it's not worth it. Now, 1080p gaming at 60 frames on this thing still looks and feels unbelievably stellar. I always joke I can't have nice things, since every time I get something nice/new it breaks. Been 9 months and no hitches! If you use a 1080p @60hz projector for movies/gaming currently, this is undoubtedly the next logical, noticeable step up... Paid right at $1k for it on a $400 off sale on the ole Best Buy card. Actually felt it was a truly good deal for once.

    Great Projector for the Price

This is an amazing 4K projector for the price and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a huge 4K screen for the home cinema room or even your family room. It's pretty bright at 2.800 lumens and can be viewed in a room with the lights comfortably. I just upgraded from my Epson Home Cinema 1040 (bought back in 2016) so i decided to go with Epson once again and I couldn't be happier with my purchase since I had my other one for nearly 10 years. My older projector actually still works I just thought it was time for an upgrade and I definitely got my money's worth for sure and I never replaced the bulb once and I watched the projector on a pretty regular basis on normal mode. If you're on the fence about getting a projector and have the space for I would look no further I took the leap to a much bigger screen and can't go back. You can take out the Android TV stick on the side to free up another HDMI port. I use my Apple TV with it and it works perfectly. I can even use my apple tv remote to turn on the projector and adjust the volume. I hope that this review helps. PS: The Android TV stick inside is only 1080p resolution for some reason so if you want 4K you would need a device that is capable of that such Google Chromecast with TV, Onn 4k Pro or Apple TV 4K.

The Epson Home Cinema 2350 4K has completely transformed my home entertainment setup. The picture quality is absolutely stunning — sharp, vibrant, and incredibly detailed. Epson’s 4K PRO-UHD technology delivers crisp images with excellent color accuracy, making movies, sports, and gaming look amazing even in rooms with some ambient light. Setup was straightforward, and the built-in Android TV interface is smooth and easy to use, with quick access to all major streaming apps. The brightness level is impressive, producing a clear, punchy image on a large screen without washing out colors. Motion handling is excellent as well, which is a huge plus for fast-paced action scenes and gaming. I also appreciate how quiet the projector runs and how solid the build quality feels. Input lag is low, making it a great option for console gaming, and the overall performance easily rivals much more expensive projectors. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality 4K projector that delivers a true cinematic experience at home, the Epson Home Cinema 2350 is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

We probably have this set up about 15-18 feet from the projection wall, we have around a 12’ diagonal screen. Plenty bright for moderately lit rooms, still viewable in bright lighting. We bypassed the built in android TV and instead use an Apple TV and an Xbox plugged in and setting it up is very easy.

Really great projector. Use it for streaming primarily, 4k doesnt disappoint. I have it paired with an elite screens motorized screen. Doesn'twash out with the light from a window or the ceiling. The projector sits on a shelf at the far left of the room with the picture adjusted to be square. No complaints here. This is my second Epson projector. I can comfortably say i will buy again.

I want to say that I absolutely love this projector and for the price point it is worth every penny, I do have a couple of issues with it however. From my understanding you're almost forced to use the built-in Android TV to access settings or really do anything. Even though they give you the option and space to switch out streaming dongles you can't work through settings appropriately without Android TV. My other big issue which myself and tons of people on the Internet seem to be confused by is it says it supports HDR and HDR 10 but I can't figure out how to make it actually display it. If you try to force HDR in 4k through the PS5 it does not work and it says it's not compatible. If someone knows a workaround that would be incredibly appreciated
