Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Home Cinema 3200 4K 3LCD Projector's picture quality, brightness, and ease of setup. Many appreciate the 4K capabilities and the convenience of Bluetooth connectivity. While some find the projector large and the price high, the positive feedback on image quality and user-friendliness outweighs these concerns for most users.

My previous projector only projected a 1080i resolution image so I was very excited to see how much an improvement 4k was. The difference was night and day. Pros: - Can project up to a 300" diagonal. I was limited with my wall space and couldn't go this big but I can only imagine how awesome it would look. - Built-in bluetooth allows you a lot of flexibility for audio options. I have a portable screen I like to set up on my patio and now I can just hook up a bluetooth speaker for convenient sound. - Terrific brightness. You do not need a dark room for this projector to function well. Also, darks displayed very well and were not washed out. - For such a large unit, I was expecting the fan to be louder. It did not distract me from the movies I watched or games that I played. - Solid packaging. If you plan on having yours shipped like mine was, it is well packed and secure. Cons: - There is no on-board audio. If you want that, the more expensive 3800 model is the one you want. - This is a large and heavy projector. If you plan to mount it, make sure you use a heavy duty mount. And make sure you have the space available. It is 16" wide, 13" deep, and weighs over 14 pounds. - There is a quick start guide but no manual. Menus were easy enough to navigate but I always like a paper manual with high-end electronics. You get what you pay for and this is a pretty high-end projector. I recommend this model for pretty much anyone, whether you are looking for a media room projector or something portable. Even though it is large, the bluetooth functionality makes it great for on the go.

I bought this project to replace my 9 year old Epson 1080p projector. I had to run a new HDMI cable as the old one was not capable of 4K. The image from this projector is amazing. I paid a professional to set it up for me and he said that the image we were able to achieve was better than projectors he had set up that cost more than twice as much. In my darkened media room I don't even need to take it out of Eco mode, so the bulb will last a long time. The image is bright and crisp. 4K movies are amazing, but I watch a lot of sports and NFL football has never looked better.

We searched long and hard for a replacement projector. Our last gave us 8+ years of amazing service and wanted to find another that would serve us just as well. We wanted one that we wouldnt outgrow for a while, good price, could expand to a very large screen(planning on building a new house with larger theater room) and it had to have 4k capability. This one fit the bill. We have almost 100 hours on it and I have to say that it has exceeded our expectations. The blacks are rich and dark, the whites are bright and true to color. And the deepness of the HRD settings is really out of this world for a unit in this price point. If you are in the market for a new projector in this price point. Choose this one..

Incredibly bright and looks fantastic (very quiet too), granted I upgraded from a consumer $300 projector but the quality regardless is great. The only issue is that your Bluetooth soundbar might not be compatible due to a protection software that’s required by all Epson products (I had no idea), but you can just connect your media device directly to the soundbar via Bluetooth or HDMI pass through instead. Also there are no internal speakers but that’s a good thing, in my opinion, it focuses on picture quality over any kind of second rate sound system inclusion.

While a bit on the pricey side, you definitely get a quality, powerful projector in this model. The picture quality is just about identical to that seen with higher models (like the 3800 model) but several hundred dollars less expensive. On board sound output not worthwhile but readily remedied by using an external speaker. Great adjustability options for picture, size, angle... etc. Big jump in quality over cheaper models (like the 2150 model) but with a corresponding jump in cost. Powerful enough for use to use outdoors at night, projecting onto side of our dark-wood-siding house, WITHOUT a dedicated screen and still see a crystal clear, bright image.

The image quality is great and overall the projector is everything I wanted. Some things to note the high power mode is pretty loud although i never really use high power mode eco mode is more than bright enough for me at least. I assume you will have a dedicated wired sound system but another thing to note is if you plan on using bluetooth with a sound system make sure it’s compatible because not all bluetooth devices are compatible. Besides that its a great product.

I researched several diff units in this price point, I purchased because of size, brand, and features. Great unit and picture quality. Replaced an older Optima unit. We can’t be more pleased. It’s very quiet. We have a dedicated theatre room and can make total dark if needed. This unit will produce light even on eco setting. Paired to a 135” Elite screen at 12’ away. Fills screen perfectly. Would buy another if needed.

This projector is great. Bright even during the day. We have it set up in a media room in our basement. It’s mounted on the ceiling around 18’ from the 120” screen. Super satisfied

I love this projector, set up out of the box took mere minutes. It’s easy to maximize your viewing area and make minor corrections on the picture. The fan is quiet, and does not hinder viewing pleasure when mounted behind. The picture is amazing, roughly 12 feet from the wall with a 8 foot plus screen. Would buy again.

We start watching our movies outdoor around 7:15pm so the kids can get to bed at a reasonable time. The sun sets around 8:20 pm and it's bright enough to get started. Darker scenes will struggle a bit but it's a trade-off to keep the kids in good spirits the next day. I would definitely recommend this projector. It's super cool that it has Bluetooth to hook up an external speaker wirelessly!

I wanted to like this projectors but the hot spotting was strong. With that said the rest of the image looked, good contrast, good response time, and punchy color while being silent. I don't think it's worth the asking price. After this is fake 4K and while it does a good job faking 4K in movies, playing video games it's obvious the image is not 4K. My last issue is the price, for $1500 it has the performance of BenQ $1200 projector so I don't think the value is there. 3.5 stars out of 5, I'm giving it 4 because of the rating limitations.

Very good unit. Bright/lots of color compared to dlp. HDR does make a difference but not like old and such. No onboard speakers but does have Bluetooth. Overall very good unit with a decent warranty and low cost bulb and a decent response time for gaming. Only complaint is slow switching when changing sources. But not sure if its the long cable run/receiver/hdcp/etc.

Fantastic projector. Flexibility for placement makes it really easy to move. However it is fairly large and I have yet to find a good carrying case for it, but it is really bright and can be used with a lot of ambient light. You do need speakers as it has none built is, but we use a fire stick and Bluetooth ion speakers and it is great for our back yard patio theater.

It’s really good but what i didn’t like was that literally the month after I bought it they dropped the price by like $200 and i was kinda upset about that but it’s really crisp and i bought a really nice surround sound system for it making it a great theater just make sure it’s projects about 15 feet away from you since it’s really bright and burns your eyes if it’s too close from the wall

For the money, it can’t be beat. Amazing brightness, excellent picture quality, and awesome color contrast make this an easy buy for 1299 for 4K Dash – even if it is a hybrid 4K. Picture still looks amazing. Glad I chose this projector and saved $700-$1000.

This was such a huge upgrade from our old projector. The 4k is amazing. It's not quite to the level of a 4k TV up close but our screen is 16 ft and it looks a lot better than a 1080p projector. I'd say it is comparable to the other expensive Sony 4k projectors.

Connected to older technology blu-ray with optical audio to reciever, with hdmi 2.0b to projector (25'). No audio lag or trouble with images. Setup was easy and size/shift/focus without needing to adjust keystone was nice. No manual wad included, but was available online;168 pages. I guess I understand why now. Manual is straight forward and I found an answer to the one question I had quite easily.

Very pleased with this projector. I upgraded from a 1080p projector after the bulb blew up. This projector is awesome at 4k and it works well with competitive gaming over a 50 foot HDMI cable. I believe that where it is placed the projection is 144" and the image is crisp.
