    I had this setup with surround sound system in less than an hour. An excellent projector for the price, the picture is amazing. I currently have it projecting on an unprepared wall so can only imagine the quality that I will get once I project onto better surface.

    I bought this projector as it lists that is 4K. It also lists that it can perform over Wifi. Lastly, the ability for 3d viewing. It does all those things, but with caveats. Lets dive in. #1 4K This is simulated 4K, not ACTUAL 4K. it uses clever technology to give you the look of it, but please read up on that. #2 Wifi You can send images and video to this projector using wifi, but you must buy the optional Epson branded wifi module, which I did not. That wasn't made clear to me when purchasing, and not a deal breaker, as the wifi does not make this a smart projector, with things like Netflix and Hulu built in. My media center and stereo provides that for me, so I'm forgiving. #3 3d I have several 3d movies, (bluray & digital). I bought active shutter glasses for this, however, the ones epson recommend are epson branded, and you cannot find them anywhere. You CAN buy some clones, but I would like to see epson support technology that they put out. Outside of the caveats I spoke of, I love this projector, as it has replaced my 75 inch 4k smart tv with ease.

    Finally upgraded from my Epson 8100 that I had for ten years and still working. What a difference in picture quality. So glad I got it. Best Buy had the best price and curb side pick up that went flawlessly.

    I waited a couple months to write this movie because I really wanted to get to know my very first projector. At its sale price point ($1100) I have zero complaints because my family loves our new movie nights watching movies on the 142” screen. Yes, it has no speakers for sound which didn’t concern me at all because I play everything on 9.2.2 Dolby Atmos system anyway. I definitely recommend this as an entry level projector. I would also strongly suggest getting some kind of disc or software on how to calibrate your projectors contrast/color/brightness levels to maximize its performance.

    Projector works great for large screen usage. Best image with dim to no light, but the image with the lights on is visible. Would like it a little brighter when lights are on.
