With about a month in, I’m very pleased with this unit. I was replacing an existing projector which finally died on me. Install was easy as I was able to using my existing mount and location. Setup was easy with the lense shift option. Super quite as I run it on eco-mode. Even then, brighter than I expected. It’s in my basement and I’m able to run it with almost full room lighting on.

The picture quality is amazing. The setup is very quick and the best part is the inbuilt sound which is of high quality. Only negative, but probably not as big of a deal, is the size and weight of the projector.. I'm still fine as my ceiling does the job. Better to buy a quality mount to hook up the projector.

I have been researching projectors for about 2 months. After much frustration I choose this model. I do not have 4k support which helped my decision. The picture is outstanding, better than my TV. Colors are perfect. I am using a VMAX 2 screen from Elite 135 inch. Great Product

i purchased this to replace another epson projector that died (thankfully i purchased the extended warranty so i got my money back!) this epson projector is a little nicer, quiet-ish operation. clear picture, very good for my little family-cave movie theater. good value for the money. i did purchase the extended warranty again so i'm covered for the next four years.

Bought this projector for my husband since his other one went out. He couldn’t be happier the picture is crystal clear and it’s simple to get the picture in position compared to his last projector where he had to flip it upside down to fit the screen.

When I open for the first day on broad day light the colour was amazing.all my window cover realy it was over my expectations. I was searching 4k projector completely i ignored. Before I used benq ht1075.the quality epson projector is great.

I had been wanting to purchase a projector for a while and ended up purchasing this one specifically for its horizontal shift capabilities. For context, we were renting a house, so I was unable to mount the projector in the ceiling in the exact center of the room where it would have been optimal; instead, I had it simply sitting on top of a ~7 foot bookshelf on the far side of the room. With the vertical and horizontal shift options, it worked perfectly and allowed me to easily dial in the picture. Picture quality was great as far as I was concerned; I had it just projecting onto a painted wall (kind of a pinkish shade?) and for the most part was running content on an old xBox 360. Games and streaming looked great, and it made for a real fun basement toy.

The Black Friday deal price for $949 is a steal for this projector. I upgraded from a 720p projector to this 1080p and it looks worlds different. It is nice and brite and clear. Really recommend this.

This is a good projector, with excellent color, and decent black levels, but it was too bright for my needs. 3000 lumens is too much for a dedicated theater room. Even after calibration, and in Eco mode, the compressor was just overwhelmingly bright for my dark theater room with dark walls and ceilings.

I purchased this projector to replace an aging projector I had in my home theater. I was blown away by the brightness of 3000 lumens! Wow! I noted that some of the other reviews found the projector's internal speaker to be disappointing. I have the video feed to the projector coming from my surround sound system so this limitation doesn't exist in my system. We love the projector's brightness, sharpness and depth of color. At this point, we have no negatives to report.

Went in not knowing to much about projectors. Easy to set up and easy to use. Used outside in our patio, could watch during the day and at night. Could see during the day at a distance.

We have a dedicated theatre room with a screen. The image is good even when light is in the room. Im sure there are batter units, but for the price this one is good.

I bought this for an outside party that I wanted to show movies on an outdoor screen. So I was looking for a high Lumen and fairly good contrast ratio at a reasonable price. All I can say is WOW! Way better picture than I expected both on blu-ray and on I-pad. Easy and fast setup and operation right out of the box. However, does not come with wireless module, does not have more than a 3.5 audio jack so rating goes down one star.

For a 1080p projector, this has a clear picture and performs exactly as I expected.

I'm using this for home theater, it's reasonably priced and has a beautiful picture. If you're looking for a quality unit that isn't as pricy as the other home-rated 4K units, I would recommend this one. We mounted this on the ceiling, upside down. It has a ton of features...I'm using it to drive a speaker bar. The only downside is that it doesn't have a higher audio output. That being said, it sounds great with my speaker bar setup.

I got this on sale for $1300 and for the money it’s hard to beat. A good step up from the lower models as far as contrast and lumens go. Projecting onto a 165” screen and it’s amazing.

Great picture. Very crisp. Have this in my mancave and we watch football on this. The brightness is great.
