Also works great in a very well lit room. I did a little Research before hand but didn't expect the picture to be as good as it is. Very happy.

Best projector under $2000

I have an entry level, mid-range and high end model, and I'd say the Epson 3700 fits in more closely with my high end projector for two reasons. It's the best projector for rooms with windows / lighting, but it also has respectable contrast and black levels. The color is as good as it gets for a projector. You can't really get any better than this for color. The price should be $999 IMO. I would NOT pay $1500 for this. The most I'd pay is $1200.

Worth buying this product

Eventually decided to buy this projector. From my experience using it for the past 3 months, I have no issues whatsoever. Simply love this product. I have one window in my basement. Even with the blinds open, this projector works very well with 3000 lumens. Easy set up after mounting.

Good projector for the money

I researched projectors for days and decided on the Epson 3700. While it does not have all the features of the Panasonic (maximizing every inch of my screen as well as making the fine adjustments to achieve a near perfect picture) I am very pleased with the picture quality. All in all, a really good buy!

What a projector!!

It works wonderfully. I use the side of a warehouse building as the screen and this projector shows movies in clear, vivid detail--even when we project it 25' wide.
