Just what I needed but it does give off alot of heat. So not good in small room unless it is ceiling mountes.

We wanted to have backyard movie nights and this projector is perfect. It doesn't need to have the best resolution b/c we're outside and not in the ideal home theater environment. The only improvement I would make is to have an audio output jack so that external speakers could be connected easier. We had to get creative to set up our own. The built-in speaker is definitely not enough. Besides that, it was easy to set up and use.

I am using this projector on a wall as a TV. 13 feet diagonal. It is almost perfect - a little dim when there is sun in the room, but otherwise I am perfectly happy with the projector. Sound quality good enough.

My husband and I purchased this projector to use for our outdoor movie parties. It works really well. Since the speaker isn't very loud, we use a speaker that we attach to it.

Set this protector up outside and sat outside with the kids and watched Mrs Doubtfire. Set up speakers and we all had a great time!

Bought it to watch movies with the kids by our pool. Hooked up my Roku & it worked just fine. Only drawback is the need for a receiver to hook up other speakers. Sound on projector itself ended up being sufficient for just us, but with more people, it could be an issue.

This projector has worked out well for my budget basement home theater. When shopping for a replacement for an ancient rear-projection tv, this was a clear winner for me.
