Epson 760HD projector
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am replacing a 9 year old projector with this Epson projector. The first thing I noticed was the brightness. This unit is twice as bright as my old projector. I can now watch the projector with the lights on and it still looks great. The second thing I noticed was that the throw for my 104” screen was much shorter. My old projector was just behind my seating area, now the projector is in front of me. I have it ceiling mounted. Set up was pretty easy. The hardest part was adjusting the picture for the ceiling mount. Next time I would suggest adjusting the picture to upside down, then mount it on the ceiling. I have a calibration DVD and used it to adjust the brightness, contrast, color, tint, etc... the projector colors on dynamic were pretty close right out of the box. My only complaint is in normal lamp mode it is fairly noisy. Since I only have a 104” screen, I run it in ECO mode, so it isn’t so loud. If you are looking for an inexpensive 720p big screen, this one should meet your needs.
