I bought this specifically to scan in photos from old albums to save digitally. The scans take a little time, but it’s well worth the clarity. Very easy to install and use.

I bought it to scan old photos. At 300dpi the picture quality is good. 600dpi it’s SLIGHTLY better. But anything over 600dpi I cannot see any improvement. Also anything over 600dpi the file size is exponentially larger and the scan time per picture is over 5 minutes! If you have thousands of photos to do, your going to grow old a the higher resolutions. Plus like I said, I cannot see any improvement in the quality.

Works great! Bought it so I could place it on a table near my laptop without the bulkiness of a printer. It was pretty bulky, needless to say.

Not compatible with Copilot+ / ARM Windows.

Presumably Epson has abandoned this product, as there are no ARM Windows drivers for it.
If you have a modern Copilot+ / ARM Windows system, you will not be able to use it.

I am rarely surprised, but, compared to my old HP Scanner, this thing is Super Compact and doesn't need a Separate Power Supply. It runs entirely off of the USB cable. I should have upgraded a long time ago!

Fast, quality scanner for the price. Not exactly color accurate, so not best for archival purposes, but offers tools for color correction.

A stand alone scanner that works with Mac Mini M2 chip (so far). Does the job needed for scanning documents. As long as Epson keeps updating software to keep up with Apple's OS updates, it's fine.
