Easy to use, high quality scanner. It’s great for scanning documents and family photos

Sometimes it doesn't respond. The only solution I found is rebooting the PC. Scans are good enough but it would be nice to see a preview before saving a file. I have to remember to discard all of the rejected images so as to not clutter up the PC. I have not had time to try using it with my old scanner software, which was not scanner specific. I am hoping that works because the scanner is fine. It is the software that is too spare.

I purchased this having no idea what I was doing. I read it came with an easy to use software package. watch a few videos on how to get the best scans out of my original water color. and bam! it performs . it's vibrant. it's easy. it's light as I use my son's computer to scan with since I don't have my own. amazing. and my art looks vivid and wonderful. it picks out all the texture and detail and flaws of watercolor. I love it

Nice compact scanner. Works well, software isn't clunky, and the 4800 DPI resolution is practically revealing microscopic details. One thing of note is that if you want to use the max 9600 DPI resolution, it requires the object you're scanning to be quite small. So case in point, the max resolution it permitted was 2400 DPI for a sheet sized at 8"x10", smaller than the maximum bed size.

I have had other brands of scanners but this Epson works easily. There may be other feature I haven't learned yet but basic scans are quick.

PROS: - It works well. - It is fast. - It has good support software online for OSX as well (multi page scans - OSX's image capture doesn't do this). CONS: - the price. It is the same price for a flatbed scanner as it is for MANY printers that come with an scanner that is BOTH flatbed and feeder. This is about 9$ in parts. So why hit people so hard on the price?

Once the drivers are installed this flatbed scanner does a very good job of scanning individual pages or pictures. It is good for small scanning jobs as each item must be placed on the scanner, scanned, and then removed. This will require about 2 minutes a page.

I needed something that would take less space but still function well. I love this Epson V39, the fact that it has a stand and you can scan while is stands is incredible! It made the process faster somehow and I love it! The only downside so far is that I'm not in life with the Epson software, really could be updated.. But the over all function is great.

I was looking for a flatbed scanner but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. This one was a good value in price and size.

This does a very good job for the price. The best feature is that it can stitch together partial images so as to be able to scan items that are larger than the scanning surface. It does sometimes get confused when the image is a line drawing with much white space and repetetetive motifs. Scanning is slow and noisy, but that is not much of a problem

Works well with my iMac. It was easy to set up. I am still learning how to use all the functions. The photo quality has been great.

This scanner fits perfectly on my desk, is easy to attach to my computer, and is fast and easy to use for copying letters, papers, and occasional illustrations for approval when sent on line to the buyer. It's a bit light-weight for copying pages from a large volume but easily does the job if I'm careful and that really doesn't come up that often.

I was looking for something simple and this is the simplest scanner I have ever owned. It works well with Windows 10 which was a plus. My old HP scanner was not compatible with Windows 10. I scan many different items and the scans are almost perfect with the exception of they may scan a little crooked which can be corrected. If you want simplicity, this may work for you

I bought this scanner hoping it would be a good portable one. I was very happy with the way it was easy to set up and use and also the quality of the scan. I was very happy with the product.

The scanner is good with all the basic functions one would need in a flatbed scanner. Good quality and very slim in size. The software feels a little clunky and not efficient. The scan speed is a little slow compared to other scanners but not terrible.

The scanner is the perfect answer to eliminating all the paper work, bills, and documents that seem to stack up on the desk. I no longer have to decided what to do with paperwork. I just scan and file on my Wester Digital back up drive by date. The included scanner software makes the job as easy as a push of a button on the scanner. Another plus is no power walwart. The scanner is powered directly from a USB port which makes it handy to use with any device.

The scanner is pretty fast while only being powered by USB. No need to look for a wall outlet. Makes it very portable. Works great on my Windows 10 laptop and MacBook Pro.

This flat bed scanner is great for the price. Easy to use. I used it to scan family photos, some going back to the 20s. Small enough to fit in my carry on bag.
