This scanner is easy to use and works great for photos. It is light weight and easy to carry along in my backpack.

I need to scan on occasion, but certainly not as a regular mode of business. This simple flatbed scanner fits the bill. Setup and install were straightforward. Very slim profile makes storage easy. Scans thus far have been sufficient. Pleased!

Not much information out there for this scanner. Really impressed with the quality of the scanner, photos came out looking great. I would really recomend for anyone who wants to digitize old physical photos.

Just picked up the Epson Flatbed Scanner a few weeks ago and I am very pleased with it. Previously we used a printer/fax/scanner combo...that was complicated and time consuming. This Epson couldn't be easier...just lift cover and scan. Plugs into a USB and that's it...yes there is no plug or electrical outlet needed for power source...wish I did this years ago.

I have really used this scanner to scan photos. Love it. Very easy to use and light weight for storage.

I got this to replace the Epson Perfection 610 that still worked, but Epson no longer has drivers for it for newer OSes. This scanner is quick and not that loud. The software is like other Epson software and works well. Others have said this is loud and slow. Having other scanners, I can tell you that's not the case. It's about 3x quicker than the 610 and about half as loud as it. It also doesn't shake the desk when scanning like the 610. I have one scanner that is quieter and quicker than this, but it was very expensive and has a specific purpose for business scanning.

Easy to set up and use. To scan a picture and download it took about 45 seconds. Good value.

I had previously purchased an Epson "sheetfed" scanner for my wife, figuring it would save space on her desktop, She'd just slide the pictures that she wanted to digitize through the device. In theory that would be fine, but over time 'lines' would appear in the copies. The cleaning sheet provided became ineffective, and she became more and more upset at the time wasted feeding the cleaning sheet through the device. Eventually it stopped working entirely. The solution was this flatbed scanner. It was less expensive than the other one too, and absolutely no more problem with those lines. It set up quickly and she was happy scanning away with no more problems, which of course made ME happy also.

Price is a good value for the quality of the scan photo. The stand is a great option for loading and unloading pictures. Set up was easy but needed help online to get the scanner to work with computer. The only negative thing to say would be how long it takes to scan each photo. That's probably the price you pay for the cost of the scanner being very affordable.

Have had other scanners and this is by far the best one. Very easy to use and great quality scans.

I use this to scan marker sketches for work presentations. I didn’t need a $1000 archival quality artist scanner that takes up half of my desk. This scanner fits the bill. Scan quality isn’t the best, but it’s better than phone photos that need extra work to whiten the background and adjust. For the price, this a great purchase and takes up very little space, especially using the “kickstand”. Hopefully it stands the test of time.

I have no problems with this scanner. The only reason it is a 4-star is that the case, like computers, etc. is fairly cheap. However, I assume this is necessary to keep the prices down. The actual scanning is great.
