Plug & Play Setup. Easy to use. Affordable Price. Now we must continue to type so we get the minimum of 50 Chars.

Easy to use, lots of scanning options.
As it's powered by USB, you may need a powered USB hub. depending on your PC and how many things you already have connected.

This scanner works well on my MacBook Pro running OS 14.2.1 (Sonoma). I had spent some days prior to purchasing this unit trying to verify which models would work with the newer OS, and this information was not always easy to find and verify. The software is available to download from the Epson site. Surprisingly, the scanner is powered off the same USB cable used for the data connection. Very lightweight. A great deal!

It works well enough. I was able to plug it in my Mac Mini and just start scanning. I admit, I don't know if another scanner would do a better job. But the photos I scanned came out fine.
I am not giving it 5 starts as I just started using it. I will come back and revise as I use it more.
needs better method of getting the software needed

nice features, and overall design. somewhat troublesome installing the software without which the scanner is useless, or nearly so. but I finally found a way to get the software to make this work

Good entry level scanner. Image quality is good and the ergonomics and form factor are excellent. Only complaint is trouble with the scanner software from Epson. You can make it work but it takes patience and some work arounds.

While I haven't yet undertaken the scanning project that I purchased this item for, I did connect it to my computer (after installing the appropriate drivers from Epson) and did a test run. It seems very straightforward, even for someone not terribly tech-savvy.

I bought this scanner to scan some watercolor art to convert to prints. It scans the colors true to the colors in the original art. Very easy to use.
I previously was using an “all-in-one” that didn’t scan the colors accurately. This is well worth the purchase. !

Bought this to digitize some old photos and it works great. The quality of the scan is everything you need and the speed of the scan is quick and easy.

Install the software and you're good to go. The scanner works well, usually automatically detecting the type of item you are scanning. All the power it needs comes through the usb cable so no additional outlet is needed.

I had a CanoScan that pretty much did the same thing as this one except that it was a bit slower and it did not have the software to allow me to export the scans to PDF or sending to Google Drive or email. This is a great feature for me. It's about the size of my 14" laptop and so it fits in my backpack and I don't have to worry about needing to plug it into an outlet. For the price, it's more than what I wanted.

This scanner took about 10 minutes to setup and install software on a Win10 laptop. We were able to scan 3 photos at a time and the software automatically saved as separate images. This saved us quite a bit of time as it scans fairly quickly and easily using a button on the scanner. The only cable is usb (no power) so that was convenient.
