Very frustrated when it wouldn't work with our MacBook despite doing everything correctly. Worked fine when we tried with with a Windows 11 PC. Scan quality was satisfactory, and convenient to be able to scan 6 photos at one time (and have them come out individually)

This scanner is easy to use. Most functions are quite intuitive. Scans are very good quality.

Did exactly what I needed it to do! After having to mail or fax items at places i didn't want to deal with, this solved my problems and at a very reasonable price. The software options make things really easy-to-use and th3 quality is exceptional. Big thumbs up on this one!

Love the large size of this scanner. I was looking for something to scan larger pieces of hand drawn art work and it gets the job done. It's an affordable, high quality scanner that has helped transfer my work and produced a clear, crisp copy. Easy to use and I would definitely recommend!

I was looking for a high quality scanner. I like that this has high resolution and I can change it as needed. I have pictures that I need to scan. It can be a bit slow but the quality is great. It trumps the somewhat slowness. Definitely recommend. I needed something affordable and this works.

I needed a color photo scanner to use for my brother's celebration of life and the quality of the photos were extremely important. This was not only easy to setup and use but very lightweight and portable, so I could store in my laptop bag for travel. The pictures came out excellent and I loved the options to change the light or restore color to older pics.
As far as longevity and quality, I've only used this for a small job at this point - so can't speak to that but I would recommend this product for anyone needing a portable scanner in a pinch!

I originally purchased this scanner for use with TCG/sports cards and graded cards. It performs exceptionally well with raw (ungraded) cards—capturing sharp, detailed scans that showcase the card perfectly. However, it's not well-suited for graded cards; the scans tend to come out blurry and lack the clarity needed to highlight details inside the slabs.
The scanning process is a bit slow, which ultimately led me to invest in a higher-end scanner to better match my personal preferences. That said, this scanner still does a solid job with standard photos and documents, making it a decent all-around option for general use.

I couldn’t be happier with this scanner! Setup was a breeze, and the sleek design fits perfectly on my desk without taking up too much space. The scanning quality is outstanding, capturing crisp details in both documents and photos. I especially love how fast and quiet it is, even when handling multi-page documents. The software is intuitive and offers great features like auto-cropping and text recognition, which save me so much time. Overall, this scanner has exceeded my expectations and has become an essential tool for my home office. Highly recommend!

We purchased this scanner on the road after discovering our relative had some genealogy documents that we wanted to copy. We had our laptop with us and wanted a simple scanner only system that produced high quality scans. Our friend had the older version of this scanner and suggested we try the newer version. Overall, it's been an excellent scanner. It's fast and produces high quality scans. We really like the feature where you can place multiple items on the scanner screen and it can scan them at the same time but then process the scan into the appropriate individual files to save. After we use it we just place it back in the original box and carry it from location to location for scanning.

I recently purchased the Epson Perfection V39 II Color Photo and Document Flatbed Scanner for my family history projects, primarily drawn in by its promised ease of use. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a game-changing feature in its software: the ability to scan multiple photographs on the bed and have them saved as separate images. Talk about a time-saver!
Not only was scanning family documents into PDFs a breeze, but the scanner also offered versatility in output formats like PNG, JPG, and TIFF. The TIFF format proved invaluable when I needed to do some restoration and repair work in Photoshop.
Overall, if you're looking to archive old photos and family documents hassle-free, I highly recommend giving this scanner a shot."

This Epson scanner works well, despite very poor instructions. The images are clear, and the software allows you to crop, rotate and improve the scans. If it was easier to set up, I would give it 5 stars.

Pros: Scan speed good, document preview in ScanSmart software. Cons: ScanSmart software poorly designed, requires too many Settings adjustments that could all be on opening page (like Canon MP Navigator) to switch between Document and Photo, set letter or full platen, DPI, other settings, scan quality on B&W documents over-saturated, Auto mode clips borders from documents (must use Letter or Maximum document size), and Photo mode inexplicably scans each item twice to produce one result doubling scan time to 30+ seconds. Only keeping it because I have figured-out how to build-in custom settings using Scan-2 secondary utility, speed is better than my previous Canon LiDE 90 that lasted 10+ years, and Preview in ScanSmart allows me to delete mis-scans or duplicates in multi-page documents. Probably should have purchased Canon LiDE 400. Note: I am an IT guy who has set-up pretty much every consumer printer/scanner brand in last 20 years + software, and personally scan thousands of documents and photos each year.

I really like this scanner. I have had older versions of this and other scanners. The only thing I really miss on this scanner is when I scan several pictures at the same time, I have to scan the page several times to crop them separately. Older versions I could scan one time and crop everything off the page separately and it did not take nearly as long to scan a lot of pictures. I do like the feature of plugging the scanner into computer with a USB port. My older scanners had a wire to plug into the wall and one to plug to the computer.

This scanner really delivers. It's not expensive and the 4800dpi is excellent for home use. It's a little on the noisy side but it's bearable. The directions are very straight forward.

This was a significant improvement over what we were using to scan photos (a printer / scanner). We went from slowly scanning individual photos to fairly quickly scanning up to 6 photos at once (while still having to adjust the finishing touches to each photo). Most of the photos from the 1950's to the 1980's were noticeably improved by the end of the tweaking process. We were glad we purchased this.
