When using with Mac OS 13.X, if the computer goes to sleep and you later resume working on the computer, you will lose the ability to communicate with the scanner. To communicate again with the scanner it is necessary to log out of the computer and log back in. Then the Epson software is able to function.

I was able to plug it in my Mac Mini and just start scanning. I admit, I don't know if another scanner would do a better job. But the photos I scanned came out fine. I am not giving it 5 starts as I just started using it. I will come back and revise as I use it more.

The scanner is an excellent purchase. I have no regrets. It’s been connected for 3 days, and so far I’ve scanner 110 photos!! Looking to do many more!

It seems very straightforward, even for someone not terribly tech-savvy.

We wanted to get rid of the 30+ photo albums but couldn't part with the photos. The Epson V39 II scanner was the perfect solution. Easy to install and easy to use. Highly recommended.
