The last Epson Perfection scanner I had, which this one replaces, lasted about 5 years in the office of a public library before succumbing to brain damage.

As a graphic designer, I have used numerous flatbed, sheet-fed and combination printer/scanners of various brands over many years for scanning line art and photos. So far, this scanner is the fastest and picks up more detail than any I've used. Perfect for my purposes.

This scanner did an excellent job for me. I used it for a major project to convert about 6000 family photos and 1000 slides to digital form. I expected good quality for the photos, but was surprised how well it worked for color slides. The product held up well over many hours of use, and still works as good as when I started.

This has been a very good scanner with high quality. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that occasionally it has trouble differentiating between photos and 2 come out as 1. But it is easy to copy and crop to make 2 photos. So far I've scanned over 2,000 photos and it has held up well. I scan while sitting at my desk at home working in other matters.

As a amateur photographer since the early 70's, this scanner is helping me archive my collection of photos and slides. The scanner is easy to use. It can scan multi photos at one time and separate each photo into it's own digital file. This sanner was made for bulk photo scanning and archiving. Love the scanner.

Using it for a special project to preserve photos fromm1940s and before. Some are suprr tiny (e.g. 1"×1.5"). Pulled up details that were virtually invisible in original. When coupled with Windows 10 Photos app, I can clean up scratches, straighten image and clear image defects. Have to give it a thumbs up when coupled with that app.

This is an excellent scanner for the price. It sometimes creates artifacts when scanning, but I've noticed that's usually if I use certain settings which I leave off. It's not perfect, but for being less than $200 and gives me the ability to save my photos digitally forever? Sold.

I've used the scanner for several weeks converting pictures into a digital format, and it works perfectly. I can not tell the difference between the scanned image and the original. I will be trying to scan the negatives within the next week or two. I would not hesitate to recommend this to my friends.

Purchased this scanner to convert WWII photos to JPEG files before donating them to a Historical archive. I really like the ability to scan a sheet of photos and have each photo in it's own file. I also like the scanning ability of Kodak slides to photos.

I have started an art dealer's business, including professional-grade prints of the artists I represent. This scanner is invaluable for scanning photos, slides, and negatives, and has a program to remove dust and imperfections from old pictures and film. It gives high quality, vivid, true-to-original images.

We are trying to copy s large number of my 95-year-old father-in-law's slides. My dedicated slide scanner stopped working and this looked like a reasonably-priced alternative to purchase of another slide scanner. It takes up much more real estate in my home office and is not particularly fast, but it does the job.

I primarily got this scanner to scan negatives that I have developed over time and for the money I don't see whyI would have spent more on a higher priced item. This just makes me happy when I see my negatives come to life on my computer.
