I have used this scanner for a year now to scan in negatives. The scanner does a good job however, sometimes the scanner does not want to connect to the computer. This happens very rairely and usually I just unplug it and it works just fine.

so far so good. Used this to scan some medium format black and white negatives from world war I and they turned out great. Obviously the scans are not lightning fast, and the only other issue is the software would crash on my windows 10 PC after inactivity for a few minutes making me restart my computer.

I love my new scanner - did exactly what promised.

I haven't yet tried the slide functions. But as for the scanner, when I hit the scan button on the unit, I then have to click scan on a pop up box on the computer. If I hit scan on the machine, I don’t think I should have to click scan again on the computer. But as I said, I'm still learning

This scanner does a great job and is so easy to use.

Thus far in the last few months shopping at Best Buy, I have had great satisfaction with the products, pricing and helpful employees. I will continue to look for items that interest me and benefit my uses, not only for myself, but to aid others.

My brother had one of these and has been archiving all the long term family photos with phenominal results. Based on his recommendation I bought one to replace my old Epson 1660 scanner. The new unit works great, and I should have purchased it sooner to be compatible with Windows 10.

This flatbed photo scanner works as advertised. It does take a fair bit of time to upload a large number of pics, but it will allow to do more than one at a time which helps. Had to call CS initially as had some trouble setting up, and they were helpful and got us up and running.

This scanner will meet the needs of the average home user. It allows one to scan letter size documents as well as 35mm negatives, 35mm mounted slides, and some medium format sizes. The max optical resolution of 6400dpi is great for individuals looking to enlarge their photos.

I bought this to scan negatives. It works ok for that but it seems like it overexposed with the default settings. It should also come with a screen cleaner and extra negative loader so you can load a second set while the other one is scanning. Works good if you’re not picky.

Works good, the film will fall out of negative holder if not careful. ICE is ok, removes most fade and light marks, but don't expect a miracle with it . Some digital noise from print scans. But overall a good scanner for the $$

I am sorting and scanning 60 years of photos. Was able to scan to a external hard drive. The quality of the scanned photos is amazing. Some photos had faded so much they did not seem worth keeping. Scanned them and although they are not original quality they are keepers.

The number of functions this scanner performs automatically is amazing. I'm using this to scan pictures from many old family albums and this unit's auto enhancement makes the images so much nicer with no effort on the operator's part. So happy to have this for my project!

I bought the epson because I had thousands of family pictures from 1910 on that I wanted to digitize. Scans were fast and I could scan multiple photos at once and 95 % of the time the scan software would automatically separate the photos.

Does a great job with photos and documents. I was pleasantly surprised by how well negatives turned out. The software is pretty good with many options for photo enhancements such as dust removal and color correction. Just wish it was a little faster.

This scanner is perfect for me. I was looking for a scanner that works on 220v. Turns out this scanner doesn't need any electrical power. Just plug it into the USB port of your computer and it powers up. Lightweight also so I can carry it on my travels.

I purchased this scanner to convert old photos and slides for my family after my grandmother passed. The end images looked great and the scanned did a wonderful job with color restoration for both the slides and prints.

I've used the Epson V550 Photo scanner to digitize more than 100 35 mm sides. The scanner has worked very well. I contacted Epson support to see if my scanner could be used to scan 21/4 X 2/14" slides and Epson is providing information on how to do this.

I used this scanner to fly to another state and scan several very old pictures and documents. It fit easily on the carry on and was not heavy at all. As for the scanning, the color restore feature worked really well. This product did exactly what i needed.

After using the Epson 9340 for a long time (10 years~) it finally started having issues. I was in the middle of a project and didn’t have time to order what I wanted. This was in stock and would half to do. I’m very pleased with the results,
