I love this photo scanner it is easy to install and easy to use. It makes excellent scans of photos, slides, and negatives. The software that comes with it does a great job of restoring color and removing dust spots.

Upgraded from a V100 scanner have had for years. While it did 35mm film/slides, I needed one that did both 35mm and 120 film/slides as wife found old B&W negatives of her as a child she had never seen. Local camera store was going to print them at a reasonable price, but when brought the negatives in learned that was not old style chemical processing, but scan at $5 each then inkjet print. Did the math and paid for an upgrade. Scanner works great. Software is a little dated but had the same look and feel I was use to. The V100 was having problems with upgrade to Windows 10, but this one has no problem. However, as I downloaded the most current driver and software from Epson (didn't use the enclosed CD) for the V550, did note that they also had a patch/update for the V100 that addressed the windows 10 issue.

Had to replace my scanner and this model was extremely simple to set up!

I bought this scanner because I did not want to have a print/scanner combo. This model was the only one in the store that was not a combo, just a scanner. It was easy to set up and use. Good quality. Most of the features that make it more expensive, I do not plan to use.

I could not be more happy with this scanner. I am scanning old family slides and negatives. Living up to everything I need and others recommendations. The price is super for the advanced options it has. Very pleased!

I'm not all that tech savvy, but this scanner was easy enough for me to setup for use and actually use. Good quality images. I would purchase again.

Great image quality and very easy to setup and use. More functionality with the editing options than I would expect from the packaged software.

Bought this after paying high fees at at tech photo lab. I scanned 35 mm negatives and 120 negatives as well as slides most of which were over 50 years old. This device was easy to use and I'm happy with the quality and ease of use

This scanner works great, was super easy to set up. I am limited in space so I can't keep it connected. this scanner is easier to use than the scanner included with my printer. Haven't used all the features yet.

Purchased this scanner to save family photos . Scanner installed and setup easily. No fuss. Works perfectly. Haven't tried slides or negatives yet but photos and docu.ents are great. Touch up software could be better.

The scanner is pefect for scanning pictures. Works great!

The scanner works well and is simple to use. Load the picture and pres the start button. Can do 2 or 3 at a time and it will separate into unique files. On the 720 doing setting it took about 1.5 minutes to scan. Have done about 1800 so far.

We've slowly been going through all of our old photo albums and converting them to digital. Considering some of the picture lighting etc. it's doing a great job. It's a great deal for the price.

However, It was unclear to me that I had to buy additional software in order to convert to editable PDF. From reading the review I thought it came with the system

When working properly it does a great job. When it has been turned off and you return it often says it can't connect to scanner when you turn on again and try to scan. I have had to then uninstall and re-install.

Overall worked for its intended purchase.... to scan all my old photos and slides. The software is glitchy sometimes with connecting to the PC. Wish it was faster and more compact in size.
