this projector is awesome!! great HD picture quality, 3D looks great, and the 3D glasses are comfortable!

This is the best bang for your buck if you want a 3D projector. It's great in bright rooms and for theater rooms that not dedicated to that cause. You definitely do not have to have it pitch black. I also have an elite grey cine screen 140" that helps for ambient lighting. It is pretty quiet too and boots pretty quickly. It can make any 2D channel 3D and comes with powered 3D glasses.

This projector is quite a bit larger than my last projector, but much quieter. The picture quality is excellent and the setup was pretty easy.

Bought this for my husband for his birthday. He loves it! I definitely made the right choice. Our old projector he had to black out the room and it was getting worse. With this projector he can leave the blinds open. We don't get much direct sunlight in the windows, but we still get some strong ambient light. With this projector it's not a problem. Everyone that visits is impressed as well. Granted our old one was on its way out, but you can tell this one is bright.

I've bought it for my home theatre and it is beyond perfect. The quality is superb and its easy to use and set up.

This is super easy to set up out of the box and provides an amazing picture. I ceiling mounted it approximately 20 feet away from the viewing wall. I originally was planning on buying a screen to go with it but wanted to wait until I knew the exact size so I wouldn't have to replace the screen. After 2 months we still have not purchased a screen because the picture on a plain off white flat paint wall is great. Granted, this is in our basement so the light is controlled but the projector is plenty bright for a well lit room. We love watching football with the lights on as much as turning the room lights off for a movie theater experience.

Bought this on a whim. Couldnt make it to the opening game. Next best thing was to watch at home on the big screen. Very nice quality of picture even at larger size. Easy to set up and operate. Never thought i would like 3D but it is impressive. I would recommend to a friend.

This thing is big but looks so good mounted on my ceiling! It is about noisy but not to the point that it's distracting. It's super bright.

I have been looking at this projector for a long time, I also have an Epson 705hd that I bought last year. My old projector was 720p, I just wanted to upgrade to 1080p. With the 3020 I got an amazing image as well as 3D which I didn't think was going to be all that good, but it's amazing. I highly suggest if you're looking for a projector in this price range the 3020 is the way to go.

This projector really amazed me at the quality in the picture. The projector is very bright and sharp. Also it's great for 3s movies since they come with 2 pairs of glasses.

The projector is capable of a good picture - once I did the 'advanced' pixel alignment procedure (Google will point you to instructions on how to do it). The auto-iris is kind of noisy, so if the projector is close to your seat (or above your head in my case) check if the noise is acceptable - or turn audo iris off.

Display is bright and clear. Shows HD well. Fan is quieter than most but still audible.

So we just had twins and figured we would upgrade to a 3D HD projector for our 150" pull down screen since we won't be frequenting the movies too often anymore. I and everyone else that watches it is more than impressed with this projector. The 3D is just awesome and the 2D is almost as awesome because the picture is so bright and clear. We highly recommend this projector and have to our friends.

I bought this projector one month back and this is my first home projector. It is awesome. As this is my first experience, i loved watching movies in the projector. My kids are too happy. Image quality is too good. Sound:- Inbuilt speakers are good. Set up:- It is very easy to set up. Really worth for its price.

Excellent picture quality and good even in moderate light, but the audio is less than stellar and it only has a 3.5mm audio hookup. Also more hdmi ports would be nice. The BenQ 1075 is a cheaper version if your on a budget.

The projector image is crisp, clear and looks great in medium light an in complete darkness. I haven't used the 3D image yet, but if it is as clear as 2D it should fine. The unit is quiet and fan seems to shut down quickly.

I was going to purchase a replacement projector for my Sharpvision. I had it narrowed down to three projectors. After looking over the units the epson kept calling me back. I spoke with a sales associate about what my screen was and the ligihting in my video room. Also, my wife was not a fan of the 3D glasses as she had issues with the shutter blinking effect and he told me there would be little or none. I pulled the trigger and came home and set it up. After doing some calibrations to get the color etc where it should be for my lighting etc i fired up the 3D movie and we watched it. My wife was like WOW! To impress my wife is a good thing. No shutter blinking at all. It as a 2 to 3D conversion setting and it was impressive as well. Very little screen door effect. This is a winner !
