We bought this to start our home theater room. The original projector we purchased was defective. However, we called Epson and they overnights us a new projector that works perfectly! The picture is good even on the wall. Definitely follow the guide on how far away from the wall to mount the projector!

The picture on this projector looks great on our wall even without special paints or a screen. I would highly recommend having blackout blinds for best viewing quality.

I replaced the 3010 model. This one can convert 2d tv to 3d! It works better than I could have imagined. I have a 120 inch hd 3d tv! It works great even in a lighted room. It's a really bright picture with great color and sharpness. I will never go to the theater because I own one!

I love having a projector for outdoor summer movies. I would have given 5 stars if it had an audio out, to hook up to speakers. The sound quality, while good, is not very loud.

Wanted a reasonably priced projector for my basement. I had no need for a super high end unit and I was on the fence about spending the money for 3D. Really glad I went for the 3D... simply awesome. Wii on 110" is really awesome. Lots of fun and super easy to set-up and operate.

I bought this to set up a home theater in the basement. So far it's great. Easy set up, great pic. I projected on just a regular wall and got a great pic. I am sure the screen would be nice but was working with a limited budget.

Needed to change my old projector and could have gotten away with just a bulb change, but instead went with a new HD projector and I am glad I did. Now We are using our Home Theatre again! It has the right brightness and clarity, The setup was also appeared pretty easy although I didnt do it (best buy folks did it for me).

this projector is a great family machine if you are looking for one the picture is so clear it's like watching a movie screen.perfect for blu-rays and dvd's.it's like enjoying the theater at home.the projector also comes with 2 pairs of 3d glasses.

This projector may seem more expensive than the others but throw and capabilities far exceed other brands. Also note, it comes with 2, 3D glasses ($300)

We bought this for our church, it's a relatively small room (for a church) but larger then any living room or media room would be. I was a little worried about the low number of lumens making it difficult to see, but it is very bright and easily visable.

You can't beat it for the price. Easy to set up. Nice and bright.

Great projector for the price. This projector can get really really bright. The wireless shutter style glasses fit over existing glasses when viewing in 3D mode. Using it with a 16ft draper screen and we have to have the contrast set as low as possible and brightness set almost as low as it can go. The contrast ratio is amazing.

This projector is an amazing value for the price. Watching 3d movies greatly exceeded my expectations. Regular movies are also great. We have had this projector for a month and have been nothing but impressed with it. We did find some 3d glasses on eBay that work fine for about $30.

I have always liked Epson for Projectors - the 3020 has a great picture and the vibrant colors are excellent at 2300 lumens! One other bonus for me was the shorter throw distance. I can project a wide image without moving so far back. Great Projector!

The projector allows for a nice bright picture, with good color. It can do a great job in most circumstances without sunlight streaming in. It’s a well-priced projector that is exceptionally bright. It fills my 136 in diagonal wall with clear picture even when my lights are on. I have 38ft deep room where I can have a 20 to 30 ft deep seating area. The focus and clarity along with brightness helps. A good budget projector with additional 3D capability and HD projection.

This is my second Epson projector. The first one was great, but the bulb died quickly. I had bought the protection plan and they gave me a full refund in store credit. I then purchased this one. It was a couple of hundred dollars more, but it is worth it. The picture is clearly better. The on and off power cycle is faster. Haven't used the 3D yet, so I'll update when that happens. All in all, a great mid-priced projector with great results.

I've had this model in my house for a couple years. Works great. Very bright and clear picture.

Puts out a great image on the screen! Even without the speakers you can still hear it clearly!
