I upgraded from a Runco to the Epson 5030 and wow was that a great choice. The picture is excellent and for the price, it was a wonderful value.

Geek squad mounted 92 " screen and projector. I was ready with my settings from projector.com and now I luv this Epson machine! Easy to tweak settings for a specific source and memory means u do not lose the settings! For the best Home Theater -- combine this projector with a high contrast screen then make sure your speakers, Amps, sources etc. are up to this mark and you will never want to leave home!

Using projector in small Home Theater. Great picture, exceeds our expectations!

Nice picture, although we couldn't get it quite right. Also some of the features we really needed this to have - that are listed on the BBY site it in fact did not have. Like an audio out for example. For this price point this thing should sing to you while making breakfast. The search continues.

My first projector was a infocus but this one is 10 times better

Picture is great even on a concrete basement wall. I bought this for use on an outdoor screen and in a future home theater setting. My tests have been awesome I'm excited to get this into a finished space. The two negatives I notice were lack of a sound output. This is fine in a home theater setting with a system mediating all the connections. However it is a pain for outdoor use. Also the size of this thing is massive compared to projectors I'm used to seeing. It does make it less portable, but certainly not enough to deter you from moving the thing around. All in all I'm impressed with the capabilities of this projector.

Excellent projector! Wish BestBuy could have gotten the wireless version in though. Waited on backorder for a month before settling for this non wireless model. No complaints on its performance though. Set in a basement with some light, projection is still bright. Best in the dark though. Have had some trouble getting a true rectangle projection with the projector set up a few feet right of the wall.

I love the color and the contrast. The only negative I have seen so far is the delay in picture change, like when i change the channel. Especially during action.

A must have for every home theatre, I'm blown away by the quality of the picture.

This projector works excellent in a home theater. It is extremely quiet and is much brighter than others that I looked at. Match this with a good screen and the picture is crisp and clear. Better picture than a high quality TV.

This projector was an upgrade from the 3010 model. The performance is wonderful the contrast ratio in comparison is astounding and the overall power consumption is comparable if not better than my 3010 model.

I was replacing a higher end projector and was a little hesitant about purchasing a mid range projector. After I watched my first movie, I was very impressed with the picture quality and was extremely happy with the purchase. No need to spend more. You won't be disappointed.
