Great Projector for Church Use

Outstanding projector. We use it for worship and presentations on a 110 inch screen at the front of our very well-lit church, and this shows up on the screen beautifully from about 15 feet away. Connecting wirelessly to our Windows 11 laptop (from another 25 or 30 feet away) was very simple, and no lag!

Best Buy does a great job at narrowing down the best products for you to choose from, and they did it again with this projector.
If you have never shopped for projectors before, it can be shocking how expensive they can get. Trying to choose from $150 to $15,000 options and everything in between can be overwhelming.
This is a great option for a business use case. We have it setup on a large table in a large conference room. I have not been able to physically compare the image quality, brightness, or any other factors like fan noise / heat, etc to other projectors, but I feel this is meeting the need for an entry level business use case.
I researched quite a bit before purchasing this because there is a 15% restocking fee. This seems to meet my expectations after reviewing so many other options online. It's bright enough in a well lit conference room with an entire wall of windows. Direct sun would be a problem for sure, but I think that is with any projector.
It's easy to setup and use. The remote works great as well as the built in Miracast wireless display option. The built in speaker is definitely useable for business. I wouldn't want to watch a movie with it but you definitely could. The fan is audible so you wouldn't want a conference phone next to it for example, but it's just a typical white noise. You can ceiling mount it as well which would make the noise and heat much less of a consideration.
Overall after basic setup and testing, I would recommend this product.

Replacement for an older unit but this one is solid and bright. Updated so it has wireless connection options. Can run a little loud but it fit the bill on its purpose.

Very good quality projector. Image is very clear and excellent even in direct sunlight. The ability to adjust the zoom with the remote and it auto focusing is also hugely beneficial

It is just what we needed for our presentations, it looks clear and nice. We like the fact that is wireless so we can control whatever we have from a distance with no problem at all, also we can use it with our HDMI cable it work flawlessly with it.

Bright and clear image, quick start up and turn off at a decent price - especially at the sale price! Used almost nightly in basement rec room area. Much brighter than previous Epson model (EX50) I had for several years at similar price.

Love this projector. I bought this for use outside with the kids when we go away and movie nights at home. It’s been so impressive I’m using it now in the house all the time. I prefer it over my tv now. I use it all the time in the bedroom just against the wall and looks great. The projector is nice and bright and doesn’t require the room to be very dark at all for a great picture. The sound is plenty loud and is clear as well.

So far the projector has been great, and works well in a roomful of natural light, which was what I needed for an event space. Best Buy was stellar with delivery and communication. You’ve won me over from ordering electronics or related products from Amazon. It was moderately difficult to figure out how to use- it does not have Bluetooth, but has LAN, which is different. You can connect to your phone wirelessly through LAN, but this disconnects the phone from wifi, which is important if you’re wanting to show media from an online source. At least I couldn’t do better with this. Directly connecting a laptop however does not disconnect the laptop from wifi. I have not tried directly connecting the phone with a cable so that may work. Just something to think about. All in all I’m very pleased with the projector.

For a 1080p Full HD projector, the Epson Pro EX9240 checks all the boxes. At 4,000 lumens the picture pops in a well lit environment. Having the Wireless option via Miracast is a plus. We would definitely recommend this projector for a classroom.

This projector exceeded my expectations. I am a consultant/trainer and I purchased this projector to conduct presentations. The lighting effect is perfect and bright enough to use with natural or overhead lighting.
The colors are very bright, and although I haven't used it outdoors, I believe it will offer great performance in daylight or sundown.
The projection is sharp and reflects clearly accross the classroom, even when it's set on 50% presentation mode.
It has WiFi built-in so you can connect devices directly. I am happy for this because I use different types of training modalities to teach and I am able to show movie clips and YouTube videos as part of my course curriculum.
It has full HD mode, and many other cool features like split screen. This projector is worth the investment, you will not be disappointed!

From using this product, you can tell that this projector was designed with the professional in mind. However, the execution does miss the mark in some areas. Let's start off with the good. The sound is great, and picture is very bright. Also, Epson gives the consumer a wide range of connection options. You have VGA, RCA, HDMI, USB, and Miracast making this item practical for the school, office, home, and on the go. The inclusion of a carrying case was a nice bonus as well. Despite the availability of choices, picture quality is only great from the HDMI ports. Although Miracast technology is new, I was so disappointed in how it looked when I decided to "cast" my phone screen when presenting. It resembled closer to the appearance of USB or RCA rather than HDMI. The Android app for setting up Miracast worked well. However, the supporting software on PC seems very antiquated in design and user experience. I really wanted to like this projector more, but only the HDMI ports are best options for picture quality. The projector does get warm and a little noisy, but it's not anything concerning.

Connected this projector to my Apple Tv and was blown away with the video quality. The colors were very detailed lots of connections on the back 2 HDMI, Usb and audio ports. The projector did put out a lot of heat but that didn't effect the play back at all. The speakers were not bad at all buy others may want an external set of speakers.

Awesome projector for wifi presentations. Projects a clear image on a large screen in full light. Though it was a bit cumbersome to set up, the setup was intuitive. Paired with a wifi enabled laptop and works great for our needs.

A perfect addition to replace an PT-AE900 Panasonic projector. True 1080 with option of split screen dual device. It’s does have speakers but I run from attached Apple TV Bluetooth to adaptor on surround stereo. The setup and ease of use was a surprise and can fill a 130” screen from 16 feet. This is a best value and perfect buy product!
