I bought this mainly to scan pictures and family documents. Hubby is going to use it for receipts. It's very lightweight and is easily moved from my desk to his. It is FANTASTIC for scanning. Absolutely love how fast I can get them scanned. Scans in color or black and white. For the reciepts, equally as fast, The software though I thought was going to make charts, etc. That is not the case. Not sure if I missed that in the description? But anyway, you need to export it into software that can make the charts, etc. And that's the only reason I didn't 5 star it.

This little guy is perfect for when I am going out of town or going to be out of the office for a day or so. I plug it in and scan what I need before it gets lost in my purse, car, house, etc. I did and still do have some issues with connecting sometimes, so that is my chief complaint. That does get frustrating. However, I am not 100% sure that it doesn't have something to do on my end of it. Not frustrated enough to think it is not worth trying out

As the treasurer for a small HOA I use this this to scan checks and receipts. It works good. Small enough to sit on the desk in front of my keyboard. I did need a USB extension cable to reach the computer. I've only had it for a couple weeks so I can't say how long it will last. I'm pleased with it so far.

I should have gotten this long ago. My friend has the larger one and we talk about waiting until tax time to work on receipts. This should help me stay organized. Once I got it connected and learned how to get into the system it was really easy to upload an save the receipts. The system captured the information from the receipt and automatically filled in areas in the system to be saved.

This is the lightest and easiest product to use. I am able to scan documents on the go and it is so easy and convenient. What a great portable scanner.

Plug and play. Used it to scan multiple files. Ran one page in at a time and it went thru and i aimed it to a basket for disposal. If i had one complain is the cord is on same side as button to push for scan. If you are holding it up and put paper in it the push button and cord are next to each ither so it does get a bit in the way

I was initially excited to get this especially seeing that it integrated with Excel and Quicken. However, then became disappointed. First after installing the app, had trouble with the scanner connecting to the app. I would insert a receipt, but then couldn't scan. After talking with Epson support we did something and the scanner to app connection seemed to work consistently. But then came the integration with Excel and Quicken. I was hoping to scan receipts to a specific Excel file and build the file so that at any point in time I could sum up the individual receipts to get a total. Cannot do. Scanning a receipt to Excel would create an Excel spreadsheet for each receipt. So 100 receipts would create 100 Excel spreadsheets. Yikes. Ok, maybe better with Quicken. Not much. I did find a workaround to where I could scan a receipt to a specific Quicken file. But in the end I decided that it was too much work. My goal was not just to be able to get rid of the paper receipts, but I wanted a management tool so that I could add similar receipts to easily get totals. Epson support was good. The scanner worked well producing clear scans but the software is lacking. Returned this and still working with paper receipts. Oh well.

Great little scanner. It is fast and compacted easy to take with you.

Very nice small scanner for scanning receipts and such. Fits great on my desk without using a lot of space. Very easy to setup as well.

Great directions for installing the software. Super easy to use. Very intuitive. Love it!

It's a good scanner, it streamlines my business workflow by cutting down on a good amount of time I would otherwise be spending on data entry. However getting it calibrated is proving difficult. Because receipts vary in format from store to store it's been having trouble pin pointing which data to auto transfer. I've had to comb through the scans and edit multiple times. But it is still more convenient than hand entering all my receipts into Quickbooks.

Bought this for our company in order to keep receipts in a much more organized place. Works great, I downloaded the system to my laptop and scanned all of my receipts in one day! Definitely recommend getting it if you need to keep track of your receipts for tax purposes.

Simple to use and so easy to store documents, tax forms and receipts. It accommodates a full size page and small receipts. One of the best items I have purchased. I would recommend this little scanner to anyone looking to get organized. Love it!

Previous iPad died suddenly and needed a fast replacement. Found one locally at Best Buy. New iPad quickly downloaded previous profile from the cloud and we were up and running in minutes. Good to have the newest generation.
