Works as described. setup was a bit of a hassle but once i figured out everything was good.

This scanner does its job. It is best to scan one receipt at a time. When I tried 2 side by side, it would pull the other to the left, crumpled up

This Epson Rapid Receipt is the perfect size! It is a lightweight and convenient scanner that is portable and so versatile! The set up was very easy, quick and simple. The instructions provide were easy to follow and the software you download is very user friendly. This scanner is complete with everything you need to scan, connect, and organize your receipts. The size of this is convenient as you can place it in any corner. My work space at home is small so I was able to get it fit in a space by my desk. The scanning features are great as you can scan a two sided document you can place any size receipts. It makes it so much more easier when I am using Quicken for work to organize expenses. This is easily my most useful and utilized household appliance. I’ve scanned all my shopping receipts. You know it’s always the important ones that fade so fast and become unreadable! I’ve scanned important documents like bank statements and health records. I’ve even scanned my daughter’s social security card just in case it is ever misplaced. Because of this little device, I hardly need to keep any hard copies of anything anymore! I’ve been able to eliminate multiple filing cabinets. The small size of this product makes it very portable. It weighs under a pound making it very convenient to bring around the house when I have a new thing to scan. The scanner is also lightning fast - it scans 10 pages per minute. It works flawlessly with my Mac and my PC. I used the included software - Kofax Power PDF for my PC and PDF Converter for Mac - to make my documents editable and searchable. This is a huge plus! I can now search all of my documents on my computer instead of thumbing through thousands of pages of documents in my filing cabinets. Overall, I love this scanner! Epson is my trusted brand and go to scanner.

Returned it, and bought a better one on instead. The Epson RR-70W.

The RR-60 was incredibly easy to setup. Powered by USB, so no extra cables or bulky power supplies to carry around, and it's very light, so easy to toss into a briefcase or backpack. The included PowerPDF app is great for reading PDF's and for converting text to OCR, and out of the box is very accurate. Page scanning is very fast and very accurate, and it integrates easily to a number of finance applications. Very well designed and easy to use. It does the job fairly well. The quality of what your scanning definitely is degraded in the process. For me it’s receipts. So try to do them as soon after as you can.

This has to be the most phenomenal scanner I have came across. I have wanted this because I am always on the go. Being a mom of many - working- and always being on the go I tend to rack up a lot of receipts, pictures, and anything really. This is small enough to fit in my purse! Don't judge me- yes I've put it in my purse and scanned while we were away and I had my computer. It is so simple to operate. My teen daughter was doing it for me while I was cooking one day it's that simple. Not only is it simple and almost like a plug and go type of device but it's light. This isn't one of those bulky gadgets that you have to lug around. It is so compact. Did I mention how fast this works? I've been able to scan receipts papers and pics faster than I shred them which is crazy right?! It also stores them for you and separates and categorizes them. Talk about a time saver. And if you're busy like me or don't like spending extra time doing things then this is definitely the device for you. I've actually started scanning my kids baby pics so then they all can have access to them and no one is fighting over who gets to keep the baby pictures when they get older. Cool idea huh?! If you want something that is easy to use- portable- a time saver- light weight- etc then you have found the right item.
