A really handy little scanner

It is simple to save files in several different formats (PDF, JPG, etc.) The quality of the scan for documents and color photos is good. I have had difficulty with some black and white photos which have turned out looking smeared and discolored. Overall, I love this device and have gifted the model to a couple of people.

Took a few min to get it to connect wirelessly to my computer but once it did it worked perfect. It also will read receipts and put them into a spreadsheet.

The quality and clarity of the scanned documents are excellent. The colors all show up perfectly. Even in black and white mode for receipts it comes out much clearer than my previous scanner.

I get my monthly reconciliation for my company so much faster and easier. I scan them attach them and I don't have to worry about them fading or getting lost. It also will make doing taxes so much easier!!

Not for Mac users
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to try the Epson RR-70W upon receiving it as the size and form fit nicely in my laptop bag and I thought it would be an excellent companion for on-the-go. Unfortunately, it would seem the Epson software is not for Mac users. I tried multiple times (and multiple machines) to get the software to load, but on each device received an error. This is a pretty short review as after a week has gone by searching for online support, I've still been completely unsuccessful in getting the software to load. I'm hoping a newer version of the software with compatibility issues ironed out will become available soon.

Only issue is that it seems to only connect to one device wirelessly. Otherwise, you seem to have to connect via cord. Maybe I haven’t figured out how to set more than one up. Any ways, it is great for my son to scan his homework for submission.

Good Wireless Scanner

Would prefer the ES-400 II, but for a cheaper option, this one would be it

I had some legal docs to scan and it served its purpose. Technology has gotten so much better that it’s very user friendly and easy to use. The only thing a person needs to use this devise is, COMMON SENSE! :)

It seems that Epson finally got the RR-70W right!

In the last year I have purchased two other earlier models of Epson Rapid-Receipt Scanners that would not work. Although Epson, did an exchange for me they never seemed to work right! Epson Customer Service was dismal!
