I have had this printer for several months now, and the prints that come out are great quality. I did have an issue where I couldn't reconnect the printer to my wireless connection after I replaced the router, but after a couple tries at reinstalling the software, it's back up and running. I ordered paper for it that arrived a little bent on the corner, and it turns out that trying to use paper with any bend ruins the print (lots of black/blue smearing all around the bended area). I also have yet to figure out how to get the print to consistently match the exposure I see on my screen (most of the photos come out looking a little under exposed). In the end, for the price, it's a great buy. The ink lasts a long time (I've yet to change cartridges from the ones that came with it, and I've printed almost 50 prints, several of which were 13x19). When I remember to slightly over expose in Lightroom since I haven't mastered the settings yet, I get professional quality prints. Totally worth the investment so far!

I was looking for something to step up the game of some of the art I sell. This printer does just the trick with beautiful quality. I considered the higher price SureColor printers, but decided on this one and am happy with the quality. I would give it 5 stars, but I did have an issue with the first of these printers I received from Best Buy. It has obviously been returned (the ink was already installed) and did not work properly, but I was able to return the printer without any problem and get a new one that works just fine.

I've only use this printer to print photos and proofs on the Epson Photo Gloss paper and the results are Awesome, especially when the gloss optimizer it applied on top, which is basically a gloss overprint. To make this a 5 star printer for me, Epson should include or offer Color calibration software. I yet to find a printer that can match a calibrated screen, without the help of printer calibration as well.

Tis is a vest good 11 x 17 inkjet printer. But you need to know to use the right kind of paper. Don't use Laser paper.

It was a great deal and purchase as always from Best Buy. However I had to order the Epson photo paper 13x19 size from Office Depot. Come on Best Buy put the Epson photo paper for this machine in stock or on your site. Set up was easy. This has some size and weight to it. Choose it over the P600 for cost and reviews saying it maybe better than P600. It covers all sizes so it can multi task therefore giving a complete use printer. No screen is only draw back but not a big deal.

This printer was easy to set up on my WiFi and prints very well. Be sure to use paper for photo printing. I just cant figure out how to add the rollers for roll paper. A minor point. The prints are great. I would buy it again.

I really dislike this printer, but as my husband likes to print directly on to the CDs that he burns, this is one of the few printers that does it. It eats ink like crazy. I don't think it interacts with Macs as well as it should. It often says it's offline even as it receives a print job and prints it successfully, so we can't always trust the interface. If it wasn't for the CD feature that we need, I'd be trying to sell it and get something simpler to deal with.

This printer does exactly what we need it to do. It uses a little more ink than expected but I'm confident that we will resolve that issue as we move forward.

When my Epson R2400 printer had to be retired, I knew immediately that I wanted to replace it with another Epson. After some research, it seemed that the Epson SureColor P400 would be the best replacement. The printer is about the same size as my R2400 and the build quality is solid. After unboxing it, I was able to set up everything extremely quickly. Simply power up the printer, install the ink cartridges, load the paper and connect to WiFi or USB. The ink does take a while to charge, but this is to be expected. Since the printer doesn't sit right next to my computer, I decided to connect over WiFi. The process was straight forward and similar to pairing a bluetooth device. Make sure to reference the manual during the set-up to get an understanding of the different status lights. My hope has always been to be able to produce lab quality prints at home. The R2400 came close, but I was blown away by the print quality of the P400. The prints are stunning with vibrant colors, deep blacks and bright whites. Oranges and reds really pop with the help of the new inks. And, the photo and matte black inks provide rich blacks, while the gloss optimizer creates bright whites and lab finished feel. It is difficult to distinguish the difference between a print from the P400 and one from the lab. I was even impressed what the printer could do with B&W imagery. For a printer with only two shades of grey, the results are very good. The printer has lots of different options in regards to media. Paper loading and adjusting for paper size is quite easy. If interested, you can also swap on roll paper for printing panoramas. This is one of my favorite features and can make some spectacular images. You can also print thicker paper stock and even CD's. The ink cartridges are on the smaller side, but this printer is not intended for high volume throughput. You will go through the gloss optimizer fairly quickly on certain papers, however it is much cheaper than ink. The printer offers a 1440 and a much higher 5760 dpi resolution. The detail is amazing and makes sure that all of the visual detail of each photograph is captured in the final print. I highly recommend this printer! NOTE: I received this printer in exchange for my impartial review.

Wow. I've always been scared of these "professional" photo printers, because I thought they'd be hard to set up and difficult to print to. None of my fears were true! The hardest thing in setting up the printer was removing all the packaging and all the plastic around the cartridges, but set up was so easy. I just printed a 56 MB tif to it, and it printed out just as fast as a Word doc on a regular printer. I expected bad quality because of it, but it's crystal clear and beautiful. What with the price point, ease of set up and ease of use, I would definitely recommend this printer.
