    This is the black ink cartridge to buy. It lasts me maybe 500+ prints per cartridge or about six months each. When the printer shows this cartridge as being low, I know I still have another 100 prints (at normal ink usage) to go and have time to order a replacement without worrying.

    Definitely worth it to use these cartridges over the regular capacity ones. Just wish they offered a combo pack with all 3 colors and the black in the largest capacities. The combo pack comes with standard capacity color cartridges.

    I like to have ink that I do not have to replace frequently, so this cartridge is a no-brainer. I would recommend this ink cartridge to anyone who uses a lot of ink and is not concerned about the ink expiring or drying out before it being used.

    better than the small small units. should set up he printers to have large capacity colors also so that your not raping the consumer every couple months having to by the colored cartridges.

    What can I say! I love my printer and have no choice in what ink I purchase other than regular or xl. I prefer the XL as it appears to last longer than the smaller one which makes sense. I wish they would come up with a way to refill the cartridges. That would make it much more economical and less wasteful!!!
