    I have used the Epson 5 star photo paper for a number of years. It is a very high gloss, excellent paper and I can recommend to any photographer (novice or professional) that does his own printing.

    If you own an Epson photo printer, this is the best paper for printing photos. I have used other name brand papers and some generic brands (never again), but I just prefer the weight and look of my prints when using this paper. If you want to print 4x6 photos they have paper in that format as well. The paper can be a little pricey, but they go on sale quite often or sometimes rewards members get a discount on ink & paper. When this happens, Best Buy's price is hard to beat. Wasn't sure how to rate the compatibility of this product since I have never used this paper on anything else but an Epson photo printer.

    Yes, there are a lot of photo papers with a glossy finish. And yes, I am sure there are other photographic quality papers that perform as good as if not better. But we are using it with an epson printer. So Epson, the maker of the paper, printer and inks has control over all of the variables with the exception of the quality of the original being sent to the printer. Trusting the user to supply a decent image, this will give you a print that meets or exceeds your expectations.

    I like the high gloss of the photopaper. Unfortunately, it’s thick and you can only use it with an epson printer. For an hp printer like mine, you would need hp photopaper, which is thinner.
