Best bang for your buck. If you're looking for a projector that is cost effective this is the one. I use it to watch movies with the family outside. It doesn't have to be extremely dark out to use it. It has the necessary inputs for what i need. Well work the price.

Pretty solid outdoor projector. Bright enough for sundown performance and solid performer when the summer is down. My only negative is that you are stuck with the Epson internal speaker unless you purchase an HMDI signal splitter.

Very nice projector fir the price. Crystal clear picture when dark. Not good during the daytime outside. Sound is crystal clear from the projector.

So I had a overheating projector at home and decided to get a new one. I wanted to get one with composite inputs (The Yellow, red, and white wires) So I could play some older gaming systems. I even picked this one over projectors with better specs like 1080p resolution and LED bulbs that last 3x longer than this one. Now the product arrived on time and in good condition. So that earns some gold stars... However, it's a bit unprofessional that a week after I reported this issue, the product is still listed as having inputs it simply doesn't posses. It didn't even have an adapter included to provide this functionality. If you're looking for a projector that has HDMI/vga/usb and projects a bright image, I recommend this product for you! If you want to use a projector with Older game systems/ cameras/VCRs/etc this IS NOT the product for you.

I replaced my old low budget projector with this slightly more expensive epson projector. It was worth the money. My set up is outdoors under the patio. With my old projector I had to wait until it was completely dark. With this epson I had it up and running before dark. Very bright, very clear and the colors are unbelievable. One of the things to look for in a good projector is the contrast ratio. The higher the contrast ratio the better. High lumens help too. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Got what my son wanted for Christmas. The only midrange priced projector I could find that wasn't a no-name brand.

The projector had a terrific picture even with daylight in the background of the room.

This Epson VS260 projector works exactly as advertised. It comes with 3 ports, including an HDMI port which I used to hook up my MacBook Pro. If you have a newer system like me, the picture quality will be a bit pixelated when it comes to the smaller details like wording, but that’s exactly what I expected from the XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. For presentations, words have to be larger for the audience anyway, so I’m not at all discouraged by the pixelation I saw. While this isn’t specifically for projecting movies, I still tested it out, and it was perfectly adequate for a fun movie night. Epson delivers great quality optics across the board. The colors on this projector are great and I especially appreciate the 3300 lumens of white brightness. Some projectors will have bright colors and not very bright whites, but the VS260 offers brightness in both camps which is awesome for presentations, slideshows, and even movies. I found that this was pretty much plug and play. The HDMI signal was picked up instantly and it took a little tweaking of the image to get it focused and centered on the wall. All in all, setup took a few minutes and if you plan on keeping the projection stationary, you’ll really just have to set it up one time. But if you are moving it around, the buttons on the projector are easy to use in order to skew your screen just right. The projector comes with a power cord, a remote, and AA batteries (for the remote), so keep in mind you’ll need a separate cable to connect whatever device you want to cast. The fan felt a bit loud at first (in a quiet room), but after a while I forgot about it and ended up tuning it out. The adjustable peg on the front of the projector really comes in handy if you’re projecting from a lower angle. The back legs twist out for smaller adjustments - they feel plasticy and a bit flimsy, but not enough to dock any performance points. It’s my opinion that this product performs true to its description and I don’t expect anything less from Epson. I’m pleased with this projector and will continue to use it for my personal projects that require it.

This is the perfect alternative to tv! We bought a screen and love watching shows, movies etc with this projector !
