First off, this is not a home theater projector. Because of this the standards for color, contrast, resolution, etc. are a completely different standard, and admittedly much lower. The picture is pretty clear and the resolution really isn’t bad. It’s perfect for anything that you aren’t going to be too nitpicky about detailed resolution. This really is ideal for outdoor movies with the family or taking with you to do a work presentation. Unboxing / install is super easy. Just pull it out of the box and plug in your HDMI. Warm-up time is pretty quick and it didn’t take long to come up to full brightness. Its always nice to have a speaker built in so you have it available if needed, but it is really a pretty pathetic speaker. That’s really not a surprise given the price for this unit. I wouldn’t use the speaker if you were planning on using this to show a movie, but it works well enough for audio in a simple power point presentation or other workplace setting. One thing I don’t like is that some of the settings like aspect ratio, zoom, etc. can only be accessed with the remote. It would not have been hard to add these to the unit itself. As such you really have to haul the remote with you when you want to use the projector to make sure it lines up right with your source. That’s annoying if you wanted to use this as a travel unit to do a presentation on location. I can bring the remote with me if I want, but the fewer things to lose the better. Overall a good solid projector. I can’t wait for things to warm up a bit again so I can use it on the side of the house and do an outside movie with my kids.

This is a very good projection unit. As stated in the title it much bright than I expected, not enough that you could project outside in full sunlight but it a standard light room it was bright enough to see. Of course in lower light it really stands out. I was only able to tear it from ~4 to 12 or so ft however it preformed well at those distances. Setup was easy, pretty much plug and play. The menu are well laid out and intuitive get manage. The only real draw I have with this unit is the remote. In my opinion it’s not laid out very well, it’s a bit of a nitpick but found myself having to continually look at it to find the correct buttons. Also the remote is a bit directional, it had problems reading if you were beside to forward and point the remote at the screen. Point at the unit work great so again not a show stopper. The issues with the remote are the full reason for the one star reduction.

Its ok for the money not good for dark movie scenes best picture in a dim room the speaker is horrible hooked a Bluetooth to mine .over all it's not bad.

It is ok for price. Just average quality. Sharpness adusting features may need better than what it cost

I plan on using this for business presentations with powerpoint. However I do plan on and have used it to project movies and use my firestick on it. I wanted to test out the streaming capability and it works well with the firestick. I connected a DVD player to it and it is very bright as I was wondering if it was bright enough to project outside on a screen but the picture looked very nice. I have a few older Epson projectors and this one is by far best I have seen from them. Very easy to setup and controls are not to complicated as some have been that I have used in the past. The unit isn't to loud as well.
