The software has a place in the cropping to rotate the scan, but it is annoying to have to do that every time I want a good, clean scan.

I purchased this scanner for on the go, and it works great every time I use it! It has the capacity to scan full sheets or ID's, with a separate ID slot. This comes in handy for cards as well. This is a perfect scanner for traveling, plus it is useful to scan paperwork at home. Excellent buy!

Otherwise you can use the included AC adapter. It was easy to install and get up in running. I am using it on a Microsoft surface pro 4 with no problems.

It has jammed a couple of times while trying the most basic scans... and can be difficult to get it to scan at times with multiple pages within the scope it says it can scan. It handles more thqan 20 pages but you have to feed them in 10 pages at a time to be safe. Why cant it be wireless ?

A good scanner for the money

The document feeder works well and makes it easy to scan in multiple documents. The images are pretty good and after updating the software online it's fairly easy to get the hang of. The duplex scanning is a nice feature, but I wish the software was as intuitive and easy to use as the HP Scanner's was.

It was easy to install and operate. It does a beautiful job with my home office needs. I use it daily for all of my important papers that I rather scan than to keep paper copies. No More Paper Mounds for me. YAY

Stores easy when out of use. Nothing to catch the papers as they come out so have to be ready to catch them. Have to use the software to turn some of the images so they are straight.
